I was going to do Russian heavy and German medium, but looking ahead I'm now not sure. Any advice before I spend hours of my life going the wrong route?! :)

Go rus heavy and rus medium. For blitz this  is the best option.

Im driving E75 and its too slow, special since they nerfed turret travers speed and track traverse.

E-75 is amazing when you get it fully upgraded. It moves much much faster. But Russian Heavies are more Newbie friendly, while the German Mesiums are excellent snipers.

My recommendation is to go through the Russian Heavies, as you can learn to angle your tank and play a Heavy. For Mediums, I'd also say the Russians, again, because you can get the feel of the Mediums in the game - Fast reloads, speed, and maneuverability.

Garage: Too many tanks to list.

Waiting to come to the game: AMX 50 100, AMX 50B, WZ-111 1-4, 121

Spinee, about heavies, do you recomand the US ones? I like going in the melee and I'm enjoying my time as T1heavy, but maybe the other ones are worse than russians?

I'm sorry for answering your question that I'm not supposed to answer but by melee do you mean like charging at the enemy? If so then US heavies are good ones because of their unusually thick turret armor.Just pray that they don't have the gun depression to really aim down to your hull.Cause US heavy hulls are kinda weak.

Current garage vehicles:

Russian: LTP Experimental tank,SU-152 Heavy SPG/Tank Destroyer. American: M4A3E8 "Fury" Medium Tank. German: Panzerkampfwagen E-75 Sterium Serie Heavy Tank.  British: None

Incoming vehicles: Panzerkampfwagen E-100 Super Heavy Experimental Tank,Jagdtiger 8.8cm Heavy Tank Destroyer, T34 Super Heavy Tank

Haha thanks a lot for your answer :-)

And yes, by melee I usualy mean charging the ennemies in close combat to detect them for allied TDs or try to control the base.

So I'll stick to US heavies. Maybe I'll keep playing T1 for a while as I bought some equipment and now I'm close to 60% win with it.

I like the us heavies, my favourite is the T1, but obviously if you want OP only the Russians will do!

Russian premium KV-5 heavy tank imho would be excellent for melee aims (if we ever get it here). It's really heavy and if you charge enemy at good speed you may totally wreck it)

Go for all of them, that's what I do. Russian tanks are generally easier (and more OP lol) but not nearly as cool as German tanks.

German tanks are not made for close combat until the E75 comes along, however, the german tanks just have a sense of.... Fame(but seriously, you are more likely to know a tiger quicker than a Sherman)

The only reason that you lost... is that you p***ed me off.

For me fully upgraded e75 is a beast and can easily take out is8 also it has very good armor what still must be angled though.

For me as a favorite, it would be American heavy and Russian medium, I ran the American heavy on xbox up to M103 and medium to pershing and on blitz I have an IS7 and T44. I bloody love my T44 as I love flanking and surprising people popping up on there side or playing round and round with tank destroyers :D

I personally would disagree with Spinee as Russians being the most neebie friendly tanks as although they as a rule of thumb have good armor they do rely mostly on armor angling, so unless you can angle correctly then your tank might as well be covered in crackers :) (KV1 being a clear exception to this) obviously this is just my opinion!

for me the Tiger is one of the most iconic tanks in the world and from a military family background I wanted to love the Tiger more than any other but when I unlocked it it just wasn’t up to what I wanted it to be in comparison to my IS, but that is purely down to my personal play style

My honest opinion is there is no specific newbie friendly tank as its purely down to your play style, if you like to snipe or shoot long distance German is your line (again except the e75, e100 etc as they are just monster brawlers), if you like head to head brawlers then Russians are brilliant as they are so low down so literally head to head is a challenger for others. Americans in my opinion only are a jack of all trades, from my experience the M103, t32 etc don’t excel above the other countries in one of the above specifc areas but are very adaptable, with their hull covered by rock etc their turret is amazing at bouncing shots and they have good range! Just depends what exactly your play style is!!!!!

P.s all of the above goes out of the window when I can get into a tortoise and conqueror, bloody love those tanks…Bring on the brits

I have a Pershing my only tier8 and it 100% trained and fully upgraded..... I get wiped just about every time I use it , even tier 6 tanks can hammer me .it seams to have the weakest armour of any tank I own and the gun is ineffective unless I use gold rounds ohhh and and unless I get 1 kill and 1000 opposition damage I loose about 4000 credits that's the worst bit ... On the plus side it it looks great and moves like a tank should

i just wish I could spend more than 2 mins in a battle with it .... Maybe I'm just a rubbish tanker ... But in other tanks I do ok

Anyone else find the Pershing as bad as I do ?

I have not tried the Pershing, but what I usually die from in a fully upgraded medium is moving too far ahead of my team mates, and ending up tracked in an open field. Try holding off the rush forward a short while or e.g. try doing guard duty for one of your tank destroyers, pushing it up hills and making sure it is not being flanked...?

Back on topic: The T54 and the ST-1 seems to be highly recommended by everyone. German heavys seems to be good at the Tiger P and Tiger II level, but it's a painful grind there imo.
