For your gameplay, you should not go any further then the M6.
T29 you cant use for melee tactics unless its nose to nose.
T29 and T32 are hull-down type of tanks.
Fun when go hill up, shoot hill down, and hide your hull behind a wrecked tank, or some rocks.
The better skilled players wont even bother shooting you if they only see your turret when you drive a T29, T32 or a T34.
I mean, even tier 10 tankers have a hard time penning that armor of your turret.
The T1 and M6 i enjoyed because they move quite well for a heavy, and have decent DPM.
The Russian heavies are better, coz they have better armor then most of the other tanks in their tiers.
The KV-3 is a good example of this.
When you are in a tier 6 to 8 battle, only morons will face you head on.
As for the Pershing, you DON'T go melee.
Its fast, and very nimble. So use it to scout and flank.
Imagine, you end up as the lowest tier tank in a tier 10 match. You drive a Pershing.
You're team consists of morons, but coz of your scouting are able to bring the enemy team to one, VS your Pershing. That last one is a E100 Jagdpanzer with its huge 155 mm canon of doom.
Know, you're Pershing WILL be turned inside out with a single hit of that thing.
But trust me, the player in that huge behemoth will be losing the contents of his guts into his undies when he notices he's facing your lowly Pershing.
It'll take time, but if you keep shooting its side THROUGH the middle of it tracks, or its rear, you will bleed him dry.
I love playing my Pershing :P
