Hi. There are suspension/track upgrades that give you better turn, and there is a suspension option under equipment.

 

1) do either of these make you faster, maybe on rough ground, or generally? The special track option is not always available.

2) what benefit is there to suspension equipment - why would I need better load bearing? I mean, I can move already, so why bother?

In the PC version, you need to upgrade your suspension so that you would be able to equip some of the heavier equipment. I dont think they have implemented that in Blitz yet

The suspension upgrade "additional grousers" for german tanks increases your mobility on soft and moderately soft ground.

Ima assuming the sand in Desert Sands counts as soft ground?

Suspension does allow your tank to traverse faster, but that's it.
