I think the KV-3 would be the best in Tier VII for me since it's literally a dime. Dime in reference to the tank turret traverses quick for experienced players. Had a match with a SP1C on the other team. Placed myself on a useful spot and he went around me however his teammate T-34-85 showed up too blasted them with AP Shells with my 122mm D25T cannon. I think KV-3 suits it!!

problem with the 122mm it needs half a minute to aim even to hit a stationary target...

I'm not so scared of KV-3s in the SP I C or Speedpanzer Ru. Like you say I seldom take a hit from them.

Yes I know. That's why you need to know whether a noob is standing behind you to only push you and disturb you aim.

My best so far:

Pz IV D; the Deathbringer. Use HE if applicable.

Pz III/IV: Has the speed to keep up, use HE if you can.

VK 30.02 (M): Baby Panther can Brawl!

Panther/M10: Permatrack, baby!

Jagdpanther II: There's no replacement for caliber.

If you control the hill in Middleburg, it can be even Pz. 38 (t)

Lol! I've clipped some in the Pz 38 nA, but you need distance and cover. Not ideal in my experience.

The Comet against SPIC. I read on this forum 'use Comet to ram the SPIC'. I did yesterday evening, worked well!

The DW2 did well against the Luchs because the DW2 gun does nice damage.

I haven't played the German Lights, but I have played the Tier 7, Type 62 quite a lot, which is faster in every way than the German Tier 7 counterpart.  My conclusions are that the lights are most deadly if they survive the first half of the battle (by running away and/or sniping).  When the reds are down to 3 tanks or spread across the battlefield then the Lights become unstoppable and deadly.  So get them early or stick together at the end.

Comet sounds very reasonable for the list.

Death Wagen 2 has the same gun as the Pz IV Deathbringer, so I would second that option as well. Your choice of armour or speed to go with the 7,5 L/43!

For some surreal reason, my M4 has killed the highest proportion. Arrogant little sods seem to think the Sherman is soft. :)

Luchs. Killed a Pz II G, Leopard and Luchs platoon solo. They were sad.

I'll second the Sherman. They are often tricky. The German mediums have their moments but I've found them easier to mess up with an initial burst somewhere tender.

ive already shared this in the germant tanks section, but i feel the little derper deserves honorary mention in this thread as well. it truly is a light tanks worst nightmare. 53mm of pen with HE, delivering 410dmg 6 times per minute. Thats 2400dpm in tier V. (or 2000dpm with HEAT, for 104mm pen) And even using heat, this tank makes money.

I'm going to give that a shot. Very long time since I mounted the 10,5 Sturmhaubitze in anything, but 53mm of pen, though...

I dont think its nice you all laughing at my luchs that way.

Course if you were to apologise to him, like I know you're going to, I might be able to convince him you didnt mean it...

You are confusing the domesticated "Grüner Luchs" with the common, or garden variety "Roter Luchs", which is a pest and often attacks household cats and other pets. The latter must be exterminated on sight, especially if your own Luchs is nearby.

I have brought up the horrid reality of meeting me in a Pz IV D(eathbringer) to many a light german player on tiers 3-5. I do not recall ever overpowering a vk 28 with it, but even Leos succumb to my favourite lower tier tank. And I ALWAYS carry HE and prammo with it. HE is perfect for those good old buttshots to a fleeing little germ. For higher tiers I might actually use the prammo.

Anyways I do not fear any of he little buggers since I think I miht make it to the level of sealclubber, allthough I usually manage to club only the slower manatees, therefor I dare say most players in the so called OP germies are not very fear inspiring to begin with.

I dont play that many t6-7 tanks, but in the higher tiers, I fear them even less. It is woderful to make a light tank go booom or swooooshh with my IS6, IS7 or my T54. In my opinion, I do not need IrmaBecxs' wonderful sounding book, since Imustbe the co-author of it in some subliminal level..

So, five games in with Pz IV and 10,5: four wins and one loss because I left the hill on Middleburg. My own fault, in other words.

Effectiveness against tiers IV-VI confirmed. Add to list asap.

I would say it makes money with HEAT if you have a premium account. And I think it looks silly, so going back to the 7,5 :)
