How do you gain mastery badges? On my service record it says 0/15, how do I start getting these??

You need to earn more experience than 99% of players who played the tank in the last week.

just grab a tank, earn a lot of exp, and you will get the badge eventually.

I reckon week is continues and does not reset Sunday midnight. Wouldn't make sense otherwise

It is, just hard grind the tank, the badge is obsolete anyway.

Yea, if you play a certain tank long and well enough you'll end up getting one. More games per tank makes it statistically more likely to achieve at least one epic game (and thus gaining the Master badge). In higher tiers you have to play a lot of games grinding your tank and the next one so the badge should come at some point.

 

In lower tiers it takes more luck if you don't play more than "required" to get the next tank, because the number of games to do that is rather low. For example I don't bother nor care to especially hunt those badges for low tier tanks.

The badges mean nothing anyway in my limited experience.

If you have a great game and do better than 99% of people in the same tank, you get a mastery badge, killing tanks is not all you do to get it, spotting the tank, spotting damage, tracking damage and module damage do also count towards badges.

I've managed to get 2........one with tier 1 and one with tier 2............I reckon it was Mother and toddler hour.......I'm not proud :(

Why are the badges cool? Seriously. I got them coming out of my (well you know). No difference. Are they supposed to make you feel better? They don't. Ner.

Play a 'bad' tank and you will get them more easily...

i really like the concept of badges. It makes you feel great when you get one , especially if you like your tank and it`s high tear( V-VI and above because that`s harder to get ). I just got a Mastery Badge: Ace Tanker,  along with 5 other badges (Top Gun, Pool`s Medal, Steel Wall, Kolobanov`s Medal and Cool-Headed) a couple of days ago with my KV-1 tank when i killed 6 enemy tanks and 3 of them alone at the end. Never got another Ace Tanker since then as i progressed to higher tiers but you never know when it might happen again.

And FYI i just started playing on 19 JAN 2015 on my iOS device (small ass` 4S ) and i just got my tear VIII KV-4 today   ( that`s 14 days and without buying gold, just the bonuses you normally get ).
