I finally grinded my way up to tier 8,but i don't know which tank to choose, the Indian looks better overall i guess.

What do you experts think?

The Indien is a more all rounder type of tank and the Ru is a speed demon but I think both tanks are very good. I would suggest that you get both. Both have 90mm punchy guns and are sort of the thinking man's tanks.

I think the RU will teach you better about how to play the Leo. I don't mean the gun with thst, but the speed, mobility and thin armour. For example, lead the attack with a RU or Leo and you'll die first. Use it to spot in the beginning of the game, lure enemies out (it's so tempting to shoot at paper armor) to your back up heavies or TD's, get behind them and snipe. With it's speed it's ideal to relocate. You'll have to learn to work hard with it... The Leo is imo the hardest tank to play in the small maps of Blitz.

ANARCHY!!!

(because of SP and timers)

Hmm, hard to tell your level of experience with 0 games, but I would probably say Indien-Panzer because it does actually bounce a fair bit of incoming fire. It can also side scrape and has super gun depression, so you'll likely take less hits in it overall.

That said, both tanks are extremely capable, Indien is probably the best tank in the game, and Ru 251 is the best tank in the game, so not an easy choice. It's really down to playstyle. Big differences are speed and camo rating. Ru has both in spades, and therefore it can do some things the Indien can't do (generally just be a Light tank). Both I would say were good practice for the Leopards, but different things were learned.

Another big difference is the gun. Indien can engage targets further away reliably because it has a longer barrel and greater shell speed. If you really like Light tanks because they have the same camo rating when they move and you know how to make that fact work for you, get the Ru 251. If Light tanks having the same camo value when moving was news to you, get the Indien-Panzer.

Yes - very good point! Forgot about the credits!

The Ru 251 is hilariously expensive to run, so definitely go for the Indien-Panzer first, unless you have like a four million credit buffer just for playing. Ru will easily lose you 35k every game. IndyPanzer will likely start making you money pretty fast, or at least not lose you much. The 90mm Bordkanone can turn out consistent, reliable damage once you understand about the gun depression and start not getting hit.

Wait, what!? Is that because of the consumables and provisions you need to add to make it run nicely? Or is paper expensive to repair?

Das papier? Looks good on the outside, but beware of tampering with profits?

I am seriously considering the Indien now.

Pretty much all the post-war tanks are really expensive to repair. I do run full consumables on the Ru, because it makes sense. No armour means every hit is likely to cause module or crew damage, so I need all the help I can get. We can't all be pro, eh? :)

Also the ammunition is really expensive, needs that special Belgian 90mm. HE pen is great of course, but all three kinds of ammo cost a lot and the sketchy gun means you'll donk a fair amount of shots. The Indien will put the shells where you want them - first time, every time.

i would suggest play both of them if possible,

Indien is very good all rounder, a little bit underestimated but can really sting. very strong turret in hull down, only drawback is loooong aim time for gun + u really need to fully aim shots.

RU 251 - speed demon, but nothing more. no armor, gun will troll u a lot. u can do insane things thanks to its speed and overall manouverability, but due to complete lack of armor disaster can strike in every single second with HE shell. very good camo values.

The Indien is a very good tank,i really like it,but my winrate in it is really poor.Mostly bad team play or bad team leaders or excellent red enemy teams.I win about 1 of 3 matches.I haven't tried the Ru 251 yet but i will soon.

I recommend the RU 251 if you have the confidence to spot for you team and be patient.

However, if you feel that will be a bit annoying, you should go for Indien Panzer. You must give support fire with the Indien.

Overall, they are both great tanks.

Indien if you liike playing Russian meds and if you are good in them, Ru 251 if you want to drift around every corner and win a game in style :justwait:

But be careful, NEVER rush in the RU251. Most of the peple get the RU just bcoz of training rooms

Sorry mate. But winning only one in three in it is also down to your own gameplay.

Indien is great flanking medium and sniper tank. It benefits from the +1/-1 MM because it's not the fastest medium. It is however quite a good sidescraper because the tracks make a large portion of the side and the armour actually is sloped. Turret quite good too, because the gun mantlet covers most of the front and gun depression is good.
