Hy Guys!

We are happy to announce that we have a cool new competition for you which will hopefully be interesting for both newbies and veterans alike.

Here is how it works:

  • Players have to submit their guide(s) related to Blitz by posting them in the appropriate section of the English section of the Blitz forum (vehicle discussion threads for vehicle guides, map discussion thread for map guides, and the game guides and tutorials thread for all the other guides.) and submitting the link to their guide(s) in this thread.
  • Guides written before the start of the contest are not eligible.
  • The guides have to be in English.

    The guides can be about anything related to World of Tanks Blitz (some examples: vehicle guides, map guides, medium tank tactics, how to select the perfect device to play Blitz etc.) You can go crazy, but don’t forget that it has to be connected to Blitz and it has to be useful for your fellow players.

  • The guides have to be in a written form (can contain images or short videos/gifs).
  •  One player can submit multiple guides, no reason to hold back! However one player can’t win more than one prize!
  • Winners will be selected by the EN team (Cynd3r, Brynd, MrConway and Ph3lan) and some of the EN Community Contributors (Amaunet85. martindogger, sk8xtrm and IrmaBecx). The decision will be final and indisputable. (CCs can post guides, but they won’t be able to enter the contest).
  • The best submissions (not only the best 3) will also be pinned in their respective forum sections.

Prizes:

Each of the 3 winners will be able to choose one from the following 4 Tier VIII premium tanks:

  • IS-6
  • T34
  • T26E4 SuperPershing
  • Löwe

The contest will run from July 13 18:00 CEST to July 30 23:59 CEST

Gosh. A competition tuned to my skillset... working on the Douglas Adams principle of deadlines, looks like I'll be finishing something at 23:58 CEST on the 30th of July...

Awwww. :confused:

But my guide on using bridges has been quoted/linked to in other communities and social networks. :D

I'm intrigued to see what guides people come up with. And maybe I'll find some spare time to contribute one too.

Guide how to quickscope/o360 no scope? No problem.

I like Type 62, that's why I want WG to give a huge discount on Type 59 so I can change my equipment on my Type 62

Nooooo ! how about my "the art of capturing base" ??

thats the best I will be able to ever produce.

Successfully capping is the climax of the blitz win experienc, as explained in the first sentence in the tutorial "win by capturing base or killing all enemy tanks", and yet is rarely performed at low tiers, and never done in tiers 2-10, except maybe for Edurace and myself (out of the million European blitz player base).

Now I have to think of something else. Anything else will be less useful :/

Read my guides there

"I want the game to be just how it was launched, no MM limitations for platoons, some unbalanced match once in a while, and friendly fire should come back as well. The only thing they should remove is statistics." -phony1907, 08 July 2016, 05:45pm -

I want just that, and replay files.

Would submissions through the medium of interpretive dance be acceptable?

Id quite like to see an interpretation of a yolo charge, destruction in the first 30 seconds of the routine and the remaining time raging at everyone else.... Seems popular at the minute, you could probably start a show with it

@phelan

i take it anyone can enter?

so the purple stat padding, stat checking, smirking at anyone else who is 'inferior' wont be able to ask: 'why, after looking at your stats, your spot rate, wr blah blah blah sucks, why would anyone read a guide from you' sneery sort of stuff ( but its ok, its harsh but fair)

arent we all marvellous?  (I hope you will be vetting any players before you let them loose in a tier 8, you know so they arent like noobs or anything.....)

thank you ;)

2015= 75% noobs

2016= 90% noobs

2017= :facepalm:

Nope, the guide has to be in written form.

If you manage to somehow translate that into written form, sure :) Otherwise, I am afraid the answer is no.

Anyone can submit a guide regardless of their stats, and anyone can comment on the guide as long as they don't break the forum rules :) Ultimately it will be the EN community team and the EN Community Contributors (We will rely on their expertise a lot) who select the winners. I am pretty sure that players with less than stellar stats can also create relevant guides.
