First game in the SP 1 C after I had fully researched everything, went alright. Keeping in mind I had an 88% crew (used quite a bit of free xp) this meant that the accuracy was slightly lower and because of this, I drew a Kolobanov's.

Picture the scene: A tier VII match on Port Bay, the lights and a med go left, the others go wherever they want and get slaughtered, I hold off the advance from tank destroyer spots. After the last ally died I was left against 3, I came up behind the IS and took all 45 points of hitpoints off him. I then loaded HEAT and ran through the port and circled back to a TD spot and lit up the stock KV-2 in the base with several HEAT shells in his engine. I raced past the base in an attempt to find the 220 hitpoint T-34-85. Spotting him I take cover behind a building as I close in, shooting once, I miss on the move then shoot again with 0 seconds on the clock. IT HITS, but I get a low roll of 200. In the end, I do an incredible amount of damage along with 5 kills. However, RNG screwed me over.

Considering that was my first game with the autoloader (I got the engines and tracks first) I think I did quite well. How does everyone else play the SP 1 C? Before the autoloader, I used to snipe from a distance until I saw an isolated tank and hunted them down. Should I change this because I have more firepower at once? Or keep playing like a hunter tank? It's a glass cannon and a half so could I possibly play like a medium?

play it looking for opportunities.

spot and retreat, find holes in the red lines and flank through. always keep changing your plans to fit the situation.

sometimes thers an opportunity to cod a heavy, sometimes you do a flanking run and then run away, sometimes you can climb a mound and put a shot into a red on the other side of the map.... always be where the reds dont expect any fire from, never be where the reds think you are.

stealth and mobility

dont shoot people who ar moving with HE. it take 20 years before it arrives there

I like Type 62, that's why I want WG to give a huge discount on Type 59 so I can change my equipment on my Type 62

HEAT spam.

HEAT spam everywhere.

(Also, what Dassem said).

PS - If you're in the reds against me, please be a considerate gentleman and don't HEAT spam.

Sk8xtrm's guide on the little thing can be quite useful. Otherwise, I'm not the most informed person on this tank.

It's speed and manoeuvrabilities is not very good for a light tank. But good acceleration for peek a boo shots. Don't play too aggressive. It provides very good backup for medium tanks. Gun is amazing. If you buy Enhanced gun rammer it almost fires double shots like Cruiser IV.

A gun rammer on an autoloader? sure mate :p, i think you ment the gun laying drive, and that doesnt boost gun reload...

ok, so it only works after second shot? But very quick autoloader for such a strong gun. It feels like a double shot. I use enhanced gun rammer on all my tanks :D

Abuse it's size, use every bump/rock/dead tank you can find to hide and peek a boom. Stil a lot of players don't seem to know it fires 2 shots so abuse that as well

I have 370 battles with this thing now.   Still climbing slowly towards a 50% WR, with the emphasis on slooooooowly.   I had a bad patch of about 15 defeats in a row and realised I was playing way too passively.   So I switched to a riskier, more mobile style and things have improved quite a bit.   From -30 I am back to -8 over 100 battles or so.   I don;t think it's a great long range sniper as the cannon is not all that accurate.  The aim time is slow too.   However, two shots form the autoloader are awesome.

One thing I wonder, per the vehicle stats the 90mm Mecar is supposed to have slightly higher fire power and shot effectiveness but I gotta say I much prefer the auto loader.   The thing is, though, not to get addicted to firing both shots because the gap between them is long enough for an enemy to fire at you.   I often just fire one and then tap the ammo queue to reload.

from what i can see is that u are still playing too passive. very low DMG per battle doesnt help team at all. gap between shots isnt so big compared to nerfed reload time. this little thing can decimate whole enemy team without any problems at all. use its super agility and camo values to reach aggresive spots unspotted, unload magazine, fall back, reset camo and repeat. try to save as much HP as possible towards end stages of battle where are tanks with magazines especially deadly.
