First thing you do when you start with a Tiger II is get its Top Gun ASAP!
Nothing else matters but the biggest gun you can get on that thing.
I scored pretty good with my Tiger II once i had that gun.
I could pen most tier 8's and tier 9's to 10's are still hard, but if you know the tanks your enemies roll in, its a lot easier to turn them into a smoking pile of rust.
I'm a very patient player when i roll in a heavy.
I wait for the moment i know i can pen my target, and then i shoot.

Tiger II and onward heavy german tanks are excellent , anyone who says otherwise never used any of that tanks when researched.
So true Iskra.
But a German heavy can be very annoying to drive, when you don't have the top gun.
This is what i advice for the German heavy lines to research first:
-Top Gun (Lets be honest, your tank sucks without it)
-Turret (More protection means the enemy needs more shots to kill you. The time you might need to kill him first)
-Engine (More power means more speed/acceleration. Trust me, the giddy moments of having your biggest gun outweighs the ones when your tank actually started moving. But the engine and the tracks are less important.)
-Tracks (You may chose whether you upgrade the engine or tracks first, AFTER your gun and turret, as they are equal in importance.)
As for equipment, use what you think you play better with.
More my Tiger II i had:
-Ventilation
-Gunrammer
-Improved aiming
In my experience, the faster you can shoot, the less chance your enemy has to cause more damage then you do.
And last, but definitely not least, learn the strong AND weaknesses of ALL the tanks you may face on the battlefield. All of them if you can remember them.
It will help you when fighting tough opponents.
Like when you face a T95.
First step is to figure out when the rest of your enemies are doing. One look at the minimap and you know. Remember their positions every time you check the minimap.
When you know where they are and how they are moving, you know how you should play to counter them.
This will determine whether you run and fight something else, or attack.
First, if you have the time, shoot its tracks OFF at least twice.
It'll take them time to repair them.
Other then the tracks, don't waste ANY ammo on it when it has its front to you. It'll hurt REALLY bad, and you cant even tickle him.
You just have to make sure you shoot its sides or rear.
Just take your time.
