Hey y'all,

I was wondering if I can print credits without using any premium tanks.

If there is a way, what tank should I buy/what should I do?

Play the pz iii/iv at Tier V. Its one of the highest income coefficient non-premium tanks in game. Kv2 at Tier VI isn't too bad either as you should only be firing HE but the pay off is the slow reload and aim time.

They say that the Tier V T34 Soviet Medium Tank is a good credit grinder too, is that correct?

Puru puru

Lets just clarify one thing from the start, no matter the method you use it wont net more than 20-30k creds without prem acc and tank.Pururut will summarize the key elements so that the op can pick the tank with his choice rather than only heeding to suggestions.

Caliber of the Gun

The best example for this will be a comparison between the standard round of IS with 122mm and Panther with 75mm.1 round of 122mm costs 1025credits and does 400 damage on average.3 rounds of 75mm costs 327credits and does 480damage on average. As you can see, not only you are doing 80 more damage but also saving around 700credits.Choosing rapid firing smaller caliber guns will always be a better bang for buck when compared to the bigger caliber guns.

Credit Coefficient

I dont have this in my memory.Go to blitzstars and select tank compare from upper left corner.Add tanks and compare. They have a full list of tanks with credit coefficients.Lets compare Vk28 and Ru-251 for I remember them.Vk28 will always earn more for its credit coefficient is %119 as opposed to %86 of ru-251s.

Other Stuff

Just the standard stuff that everyone knows tbh.Minimize premium ammo usage.only use fire extinguisher.first aid kit and basic repair kit.No consumables like cola, improved fuel or camos. These are all money drains.

A Final Word

My personal advice will be to pick a tank from tier 6.It is practically the stop gap between the harder tier 7-8 and the inexperienced tier 4-5 hive. Most tanks can pen each other with relative ease and it is more fun with the lack of high alpha tds.Last but not least, do a lot of damage and win your games.

Pururut wishes good luck with picking your tank.

You might find a list like this useful:

Just choose your tier and favourite non-premium with high credit coefficient.

Totally agree, been doing some credit earning experiments on other account(s) and it makes very good credits without premium (though remember you get those certificates from missions/chests for free premium time).

I'm no seal clubber at tier V and on the PZ. III/IV I dropped to < 40% WR before recovering to > 50% and it made credits nearly every battle.

Co-incidentally I'm doing an experiment on another (Russian) account just running the highest coefficient non-premium tanks (so British Mediums tiers I-III for starters), only started today. Just 10 missions on the Medium I so far which thanks to the "free" premium this weekend netted me over 115k alone (not including credits from missions/chests). Medium was completely stock, it's now elite.

My understanding is that most players struggle with earning credits around tier VII/VIII (depends on how skilled you are) so having some good credit earners in your garage certainly helps. Personally I lose credits on most tier V tanks so it was nice to discover how good the PZ. III/IV is. My US account was down to around 500k due to buying and selling tanks too often and losing credits on tier V battles

Premium tanks also drop from the free chests, as luck would have it I got a Pz.Kpfw. S35 739 (f) on the same account this morning

The DW2 is a good credit earner at Tier 4 - the Alecto is even better if you know how to be sneaky and avoid being shot.

For Tier 6, try the Churchill Gun Carrier.  If you can survive in it despite the poor armour and low traverse, you’ll earn shedloads of credits - but if you can’t, go for the AT 8 instead.

At Tier 7, try the AT 7.

PzIV with 10.5 gun works well for me, just use He up close.

Yeah, that was my preferred style also. Not sure how the credit earning compares though, only 16% difference on the coefficient and HE is a less expensive shell.

I played the Pz IV more than the Pz III/IV first time around

Make sure you take a good tank, which you can play comfortably, play with a good mate so that you can win more easily and don't run provisions, they are credit killers. Other than this, complete as many missions as possible and open crates every day. Then it depends on the tank you choose, but I'm not an expert on this topic.
