Why did prices recently hike up in World of Tanks Blitz?

I would like to say that everyone here on Blitz will be surprised by this but we are not. It is time that you all at Wargaming got your heads together and put the customer first rather than blaming App store and Google play etc. You at Wargaming set the price for goods and they are just a 3rd party passing on the cost. Clearly the uproar of update 3.8 was ignored so I ask, What will it take to get Wargaming back in touch with how the Blitz community feels? Overall I believe it will take the full blitz community to say not one more penny until a reality check is seen and some dialogue between us to get the community back on board.

We ask you to reduce prices by reducing the "extras"

So you do the opposite.

A good company that looks after its customers would of reduced the prices to make them comparable, not jack up the price on the others.

My cafe increased its coffee prices 40% so I bought 66% less.

i will apply the same formula to blitz.

This game is too expensive already....good luck - you will need it.

i have spent thousands of pounds/euros on this game, and I'm precisely the sort of customer you are driving away with prices increases AND taking away equipment I have already bought.

Well, 15% of nothing is still nothing.  Try harder...

Thats their plan. Somewhere else on this forum someone posted about wg having a live telegram chat with some server top clan leads recently. Wg basically admitted they want to get rid of the more loyal and 'veteran' players through the 3.8 update to make way for newer and more naive (in other words more likely to cough up cash no questions asked) players. Very cynical of them. Anyway wg will come unstuck eventually with this strategy. Total hubris. Looking forward to their fall.

They're adjusting Windows & Google play prices to match iOS.

Meaning they will get bigger earnings if players buy from Windows or Play.

Will be interesting to see how they plan to discourage players from using iOS. :deer:

Too bad I did not check prices at both stores before I bought gold last month.
Now it is irrelevant anyway because I will not buy anything more.

Gold is cheaper in Microsoft store ...

Oh dear wargaming, what happened? It was going so well. But then you decided to put a fire to any hope of goodwill or legacy. Suggests a narrow minded short term business philosophy.

It's looks more like an attempt to pump the profits before you sell the company off for an inflated price. I would not be surprised if we see WG sold soon. One roomer is Microsoft is interested but I don't know how reliable this is?

PR like this doesn't help to sell a company.

I gave Ratner as an analogy elsewhere, but Marks and Spencer is another good one. Quite a long time ago now, they changed their purchasing policy from buying British to buying cheap. This apparently makes great sense, helping your bottom line, etc etc. However, the awful PR this generated lost them a huge number of customers, and they've never really recovered. They had a USP and binned it. These days, their profit comes from food rather than clothing.

The bad PR may not be visible to Microsoft just profits if WG can make a quick sale

Microsoft aren't stupid. They need to build the Windows mobile app base, and would look at the product rather than just the bottom line.

I bout gold last time for 28000+bonus. Normaly I would buying again, even that the old price was already high. I WILL NOT BUY ANYMORE. WOT commercial skills to sell gold for higher prices with a non reason closed doors. If you had said that due to more cost for develop further, It would be more "accepted" (grrrr) than saying its not our fault. Butt even then I believe that your income could easy Li be increased by other commercial methodes were custumors would not directly feel taken by there ...

 Any company  in the world is made to make profit, that is a fact. But, again,  the way of doing it is another matter. In plain terms custumors calls that bull.... They will not write it But think it. Further I like the game, its functie and wellicht build. Congrat.

One advantage of 3.8: since the update, I care infinitely less about prices, for the simple reason that I have no intention of giving Blitz a penny until they fix it...

Hello, I will publish it in english too :

Posted Image

This array shows : how much golds for 1 €uro before 4th may and how much today with the new bundles WG

WG had made equal the second and the third bundlle

we loose 3% on the 4th

and we loose 10% for the first and the 5th....

adjustment by WG !....

"ecart" = gap

or = gold

prix = price

"In order to avoid any discrimination, prices had to be adjusted on all platforms, namely Google Play, Windows Store, and Steam."

This is a ludicrous statement.

If Apple increases their prices, let them live with the consequences of their decision.

It is not discrimination to charge Apple according to their choice.
