So they say bad honour resets, So does the good also?

I think I've missed something in the notes on how this works.

Can someone explain?

Or is this just another time-wasting feature that goes nowhere...

I dont think any of the reviews go away, but the rating is always trending towards 3 stars, whether that might be from 5 or 0 stars. So if you dont play in three days, your rating will be 3 stars when you log on again.

It had a potential but its a shame it proved useless.

After all its still WG doing their thing and pushing out new stuff no one ever wanted, if they only were good and useful. :sceptic:

I think it's good if used according to the description. Unfortunately if you tell a camper to move and help the team, he will tag you as a provocative communicator...

I am as yet unaware of anyone rating me whether up or down.   Do you get, like, a notification?   I use my full allotment of ratins.   I really like the fact I can now punish inconsiderate play and reward good stuff in a moderate and proportionate way.   The chat is not being abused so much now people fear a thumbs down.   It's all good IMO.

I'd like to know this too. And I'd like to know if the false negative voters will have penalties enforced against them.

Got a vote for "inactivity" immediately after a 3k damage, 5 kill, 1.2kXP battle, presumably from someone I wrecked on reds. -_-

Well as I see nobody dislike me for anything, people mostly hit "like". But still, I see no sense. Some additional feature needed.

And when you get a new star you receive notification.

Noticed this, any criticism is seen as 'provocative communication' or 'unsporting conduct' even if it is literally just asking for help or giving advice because people think they are perfect and exempt of criticism. I think this system need a little work to become perfect but it is definitely a good start

Hit the nail on the head there mate.

This is not a feature designed to accurate rate players, it's the incentive to keep players polite in global and team chat since its re-introduction.

Haven't tried this but can your platoon mate vote on you? If so you could just get your clan members to platoon and upvote you. Defeats the purpose if that is the case

Me neither but the blurb on the release said that toonmates and fellow clan members votes wouldn't carry as much weight as the rest.

Yes, toon can vote, tried that and it was well deserved, too

Yeah, but don't let that put you off - credit where credit's due.

Coming from a Dota2 background I was really hoping for this feature to be implemented into WOT, but as someone earlier said I also got flagged for inactivity during a battle regardless that I had the most kills and to prove that I didn't kill steal I also had the most damage dealt with the closest of my allies doing 1300 less dmg than me. Unlike Dota2 where every game is automatically recorded and can be viewed by literally anyone a complaint like this one cannot be investigated. I suppose is doesn't matter too much at this stage, but that said we don't know how harshly we will be penalized.

At least with Dota2 you were put in a lower bracket they call Low Priority where you end up playing with other transgressors. You will stay in LP for a minimum of 5 games of which you must be on the winning side for all 5 otherwise your tally stays the same. Being in LP is not fun considering that you are now joined by other rude players or players with connection problems like our AFK clan we find in almost every game.

So, although at this moment in time and with the format of none recorded games onto the server, the liars who wrongfully complain about one cannot be punished. The best you can do is immediately after each game check your stats, identify your complainant and return the favour.
