While I'm not the best nor worst player in the game, I did respect and like the MH system until the 'afk' fever came to me.

When I had to force shutdown my laptop to restart it, i was in middle of a game and despite dealing 400-500 dmg before i had to stop i got 3 people afk reported me and one even for unsporting conduct and now In now considered a Two star and considered showing inadequate behaviour despite never uttering a single swear word in battle

I just hope at least I get three stars back, because I'm becoming alienated in my clan because of my downvotes

Well has been resolved

Been Quick but doesnt change my view that being afk is not always intentional and so never punished

I have 5 complaints for being AFK while I was never AFK. This system is being abused by Edited kids. I've sent a ticket to WG.

allowing to report inactivity on enemy player is just Edited. You get a lot of Edited kids reporting whoever killed them, as "revenge".

I've gotten 12 praises and no complaints for now, I think it might depend on your communication on battle if people get Edited agaisnt you or not. Thru certainly in my experience downvote you because you rekt their team

I just got demoted due to some Edited telling others in team to vote me down after not playing game his way and challenging being called a Edited. After 10000 battles I'm automatically demoted due to some Edited ganging up on me!!! Not fair Wot, not fair!!

I had a narrow loss on mines, played my heart out, didn't stop moving and did a heap of damage trying to carry my Edited team....got a few salty comments from the red who killed me..then got a neg for 'inactivity' post game. Sigh. Presume it was the same red.

the system is up for abuse by Edited but the change by one vote can be large. I had 14 praise and 3 down votes and was rated top in MH. So not to far from your score. Was playing a game and about 3 minutes in a knock on the door that I had to answer. Came back my team had folded and lost 6 1. Got two down votes to take my total to 14 praise and 5 down votes. My MH dropped to three stars. The downvotes must have come from good players with large MH to make that effect. But that's a lot of work required to try and claw that back - not sure I can be bothered. Not sure one small unavoidable incident like that should have such a large consequence.

Overall, I like the system, even though I got two 'insctivity in battle' votes yesterday arising in the following unsatisfactory manner: I was driving the AT2 on Desert Sands.   Some of us went right through the town, with me and a KV1 to the fore.   We tore through their left destroying 3 reds for no loss.   Noting their meds had circuited the battlefield and reached our base I turned to go back.   A red T71 ran away and soon got killed.   We were 5-2 up and I was near the cap circle so I went to sit in it, thinking to at least do something, since chasing a VK28.01 and aT34/85 out in the desert was not really viable.   From the cap, I got a few shots off under the railway bridge.

So, game over.   Well, not quite.   The greens started melting away until there was just a KV1S and me left.   The watching greens started to panic and I started to get messages instructing me to 'move!'  The tone of abuse and hysteria increased while the KV1S got killed and the two reds turned on and easily despatched me.   Afterwards I got a message from the inflamed KV1S player (a guy with excellent stats, way better than mine) telling me I should never ever go to the cap.   It tells the enemy where I am (err, so does shooting at them).   I stood my ground explaining that I had not been inactive at any stage and that we lost because of his incompetence.   Result, a downvote from him and, I surmise, his platoon mate.

The thought occurs - the AT2 may be a bad tank for honours system purposes since there are many battles in which it will appear to do little, given the need for assistance from others, not always forthcoming.

Yep, so true. If you wreck the reds they give you a bad rating.

After reading your well written battle report, I thought I'd play it in almost the exact same way - perhaps I would have stayed very close to the cap? Anyway, I think many people over-estimate what you can do in an AT 2 when you are outnumbered, so your parting thought is an insightful one.

I believe the system can adversely affect TD players. People can view sniping as camping unfortunately

"Unfair"? Everyone else here complains about being tagged "inactive" after performing well, while you were genuinely AFK! :P

Noobs think that the last green left alive is always responsible for losing the battle, so will always downvote the last survivor on a loss.  While forgetting the greens that yoloed and died quickly at the beginning.

So as a good player, you will be downvoted by green noobs simply because you survive longer than they do.

Time of day is also a big issue. Most people start playing in the am, so give their votes in the morning, meaning events in the evening often result in no votes, both to the good or bad. Its not a good system but equally, if it is designed to stop the abuse, then it seems to be working ok so far.....

The biggest complaint I have is that you can't report the enemy for abuse...who cares if the reds are AFK, just makes your job easier.

And the other thing getting my goat are players who you rightly report for unsportsman like conduct who then see there have been reported and do it back to you.

The system needs to prevent retaliation if it's going to be of any use.

Yes it's way too open to abuse. I was out in the E25 on Sunday and I had got 2 kills and we were down to 4 reds v me and a team mate. He got 2 kills and I got the last 2. The damage I caused wasn't unreasonable at just a little over 1200 caused. Well he abused me straight away for been a kill stealer but I aren't waiting for a live tank to get shots off. You kill them first before they kill you is my belief any way. So even though he started the abuse he had already red thumbed me for provocative behaviour, I didn't message him in game and my reply was the stock answer, Boring tell someone who cares! The abuse went on throughout the night but I wasn't logged on. He sent me 23 messages in total ranging from threats, Racist slur about being British ( which I found funny), Giving my mother Anal...lol and that he knew the Mods and could get me kicked from the game. But you click the game and try to red thumb him and the time has expired. So all you do is wait 5 minutes and start sending abuse as they then can't red thumb you...crazy!

But this was another thing, he had all thumbs up and 5 purple stars so I checked the guys stats and he played nearly always in platoon so the figures for thumbs up are untrustworthy at best so! Sorry Wargaming but another system you have introduced that hasn't been thought through again!!!

Any how in the next update spare parts are available for gold but most precious of all the Purple thumbs up will be up for a small pot of gold too!!!!
