However id like to point out that no one ever said it will come in 4.3 as another topic's title suggests. Zloyyd said "in the nearest updates". To me that sounds like 4.4 and beyond.
I do know that the way i express myself to some, if not most, people sound a bit too...aggressive? salty? rude?... but this is the way i speak and the way my thought train rolls...so...yeah...i'm not trying to insult anyone or pick up any fights.

First I wanna say that an introduction of crew skills level 7 is nice BUT
- the cost for level 7 looks way too low.
- being able to use combat xp on elited tanks makes the grinding of crew xp ridculously easy.

I'd agree with the first point, absolutely, but the second helps those who play tanks more rather than the muppets rushing up the tiers, who have zip on their elited tanks

The first picture shows level 1 being researched or did you mean the 1.1mill xp for level 7 on the right of the second pic?

This is what he means, I think; achieving Crew Skills to level 7 is as easy as 1 2 3...

But those who have got to level 6 will be pretty damned good already, so will be able to get to level 7 in no time. Seems counter-intuitive to me.

Spot on. And as if they exactly needed to be in more disadvantaged position vs. those who have honed their skills for years and have better equipment, crew skills too...

Therefore, assuming you value a given crew skill, it's better, from a cost-effective perspective, to increase a crew skill up to lvl-7, rather than just lvl-6?

Yes, a buff to sealclubbers. Relatively less so if they were re-rollers. I wonder if crew skill boosters will be later discounted?
I think I've accidentally benefitted from this upcoming change, as I always liked to try out the complete range of guns available to a vehicle. In doing so, I have elited all my non-premium vehicles probably as rapidly as possible. Without realising until reading this thread the significance of the silver wreath.

There's something new every day. Recently, I noticed that the wreath appears (or not) even in the tank icon when you pick tanks for platooning. And you can also see whether your platoon mate's tank is elited or not...

So, in update 5.2 you'll find:
- new map "Faust";
- ribbons - new feature designed to help you track your actions in battle;
- replays and spectator mode improvements;
- balance adjustments announced here;
- and some other changes we'll tell about in patchnote.
