*Please note: the vehicles for the Macragge's Thunder event were not subject to mass testing. The characteristics of these vehicles may be adjusted in future to improve the game balance, if necessary.

Well, that's a fascinatingly interesting clause isn't it...

In the event there will be three currencies: "Emblems of Ultramarines", "Emblems of Imperial Fists" and "Emblems of Dark Angels". Let's talk about each slightly more in detail. To obtain tanks, you will need to collect a special currency - "Emblems of Ultramarines". * To receive the Emblems of Ultramarines, you will need to perform combat missions and earn combat experience. The Emblems of Ultramarines are affected by the premium account and are not affected by boosters. Emblems may be contained in bonus containers. There will be one more currency - "Emblems of the Imperial Fists" * To get the Emblems of the Imperial Fists, you will need to inflict maximum damage in the first 3 victorious battles every day (similar to the KpfPz event). Emblems can be contained in bonus contenders. There will be a third currency - "Emblems of the Dark Angels" * To receive Emblems of the Dark Angels, open bonus containers. Emblems are issued every time you open an Ordinary Bonus Container and can be contained in the Big and Huge Bonus. Apply maximum damage in the first 3 victorious battles every day and get the "Emblem of the Imperial Fists"

Wargaming please remove this annoying endless loop of the theme music in the garage. Or is this meant to be an allien brain-melting weapon? Can you just do a 10 seconds of it and stop?

And in general, i don't know why would anyone want these two ugly fantasy tanks, unless they are 12-year olds. Enough of fantasy tanks, wargaming!

I'm in it for the rare parts...
My general feeling is please stop...
Altho I'm 50+ my inner 12 year old would like to use the bull-dozer tank, i can't help it, I'm weak!  I'm not going to pay gold but if I get it i will play it, sorry.

As I can't be bothered to read all the blurb ,can anyone tell me, are spare parts available from this event without first acquiring one of these two fantasy tanks? Oh and while I'm here it looks like you'll have to part with serious gold unless you play a huge amount of games

I now see that my garage as well as Fort Despair has had a psychedelic make-over.  It just seems so incongruous to see these backdrops with WW2-era vehicles.

The details are still a little hazy to me, but it looks like players will be earning spare parts, boosters and credits upon earning enough of the new event currency.  Which will be earned on the completion of event stages, achieved through winning battles in normal tanks.

I think other than to log on just to open bonus containers, I'll be giving Blitz a miss for the month it's all supposed to be running.

Doing rough maths for event.

25k to buy tanks day one.

To grind them

Look at 800 battles. 80 a day....

You first 3 wins per day need averages of 2000+dmg, 2000+dmg and 1500+dmg

and luck with crates.

One of my clan worked it out at 8hrs play a day minimum or an average 3hrs and 24000 gold. I haven’t bothered to look it up as the last two event tanks I have won have been below average I.e. CDC & STRV. So what I get is what I take as I have no interest in the event just any bonus spare parts.

I see a pattern emerging here, wouldn't it have been nice if they'd offered a choice of either the new ' tanks' or a shed load of spare parts? That'd get everyone playing

The naff garage is a feature of these events. Drac/Helsing was just as peculiar, I think Tankenstein was too, but that was a long time ago, etc.

Anyway, as far as the tanks go, if you don't actually want them, what does it matter how long it would take to grind them or how much gold to buy them? WG are going to give us some stuff for just playing the game as usual. I can't see the problem with that. When you do see the tanks in game, they'll be driven by a goldnoob or a unicum obsessive. Which one will be obvious in very short order. Both look to have fairly ropy performance stats.

Can't agree more. There will be other "goodies" that will interest most players more than the fantasy tanks that are impossible to grind.

I remember the tankenstein grind...shudder.

Ps just noticed I made sergeant..do the stripes arrive in the post ?

In war it is the man that counts, and not only the machine. A good tank is useless unless the team inside it are well trained, and the men in the team have stout hearts and enthusiasm for the fight. Montgomery Nov 1944

It seems the „Supremacy: Echelon“ mission (must capture and hold two bases till the end of the battle in supremacy mode) is bugged. I had the requirements fulfilled several times today and the mission was not completed.

It would be nice, and somehow fair, if this got fixed before the event starts.

Check the tank type required.

I do know that the way i express myself to some, if not most, people sound a bit too...aggressive? salty? rude?... but this is the way i speak and the way my thought train rolls...so...yeah...i'm not trying to insult anyone or pick up any fights.
