Currently using the laptop with the number keys and mouse pad as controls which can be a pita at times with keys jamming and trying to scroll and turn isn't great! So what is the best setup for playing, I've tried a control pad (ps looky likey) but it's to slow and I can't seem to find the settings for this.

1- You are the first specimen to only use the right portion of a laptops keyboard for gaming. It might work in other games but in Blitz you need to use WASD and left portion of keyboard not only for control but also for commands as well.In other words, left hand on WASD and right hand on the mouse pad or mouse.

2-You dont use mouse pad for anything. In my opinion laptop designers should be mass purged for adding such an impractical and useless piece to the center and below the keyboard. For controller(gaming?) pad, it is for poor japanese console ports and useless sports games.

3-Just get yourself a proper gaming mouse with high DPI.It will withstand for a long time unlike those low quality mouses and it is much easier and less frustrating to use compared to a mouse pad.

Thanks, I've got a mouse on order 7200 dpi (hopefully good enough).

What Pururut said, I tried with the trackpad thingymajig but quickly got a mouse, although not a high dpi one, made a yauuuge difference, although nowhere near as good as mouse on my iMac.  I still find the latter much easier to play with

He who stops being better stops being good.  Oliver Cromwell I was soundly beaten, and i am the better for it.  Monty

I keep getting beaten but getting better so its all good man :harp:. Major Eazy

I have an old wired mouse from years ago. Plug into my new SSD laptop, feels so weird.

Btw, when you are playing disable trackpad. Before this my lazy arm rested on the trackpad mouse button and set off my gun, consequently getting me killed while I reload.

I broke my mouse the other day whilst raging, now I have to play with the fecking trackpad I need to double tap to shoot and shooting with auto aim on is impossible.
