Next tech tree tank line (chinese heavies?) on 4.9 update?

 

Is 4.8 like performance (atleast test were about testing performance on different devices) maintenance update?

 

Now crew skill training with gold is noticeable different from credit training.

 Hey,

1) Why wasnt the 2nd top engine on T54e1 removed? as it is quite useless as of now, because the top engine gives only 10 hp more than this engine.

2) About the reduction of modules, will it be for tanks only in our garage or will the removed modules be compensated regardless if we have them in our garage or not.

1) It's not absolutely unnecessary module, that's the reason. 

2) The removed modules be compensated regardless if you have them in our garage or not.

I have reseached nearly all of the modules. Will the eventual removal compensated by free XP?

Compensation by XP for that specific tank is (in my opinion) unfair because I could have researched the next tank way earlier and played more games in different tanks to unlock stuff there.

Not if the removed module happens to also be a stock module, however.

 

Stock modules are given ‘free’ when you buy the tank, so have an xp value of zero.  So you will get nothing when they are removed from the game.

Surely in that instance you should get the xp of the now stock part that you have researched that now has no cost?

If you researched that stock module on the previous tank in the line, and haven't yet researched the tank that has that module as a stock item, then yes you should be compensated with the module's xp value on the previous tank.

 

But if you have researched the tank that has it as a stock module, then you should not be compensated.

No, I mean if you have researched engine 2 for 10k xp, and they remove stock engine 1, your 10k xp has been wasted exactly the same as if they remove engine 2.

Hardly important, but replacing stock modules with existing ones also costs.

Ah, I see.  I think that’s just going to be tough luck.  Especially if you only researched that engine a few days before the update...

...but if it was a while ago, then you got your xp’s value out of it.

Hey, there won't be such situation.

But anyway, the cost of stock modules is in tank cost, so if 10k xp engine 2 becomes stock, the tank price is 10k xp more now. But I repeat, there won't be such situation, don't worry

WG... I know this isn’t a 4.8 issue per se, but:


The T-44-100 event - well received and popular.

The T-34-3 crate sale - about as welcome as a dead dog in my bath.

I’d happily play for your tanks, I’d happily pay for them (and you know I will...) but I’m completely and utterly fed up and sick to death of gamble/lottery/crate events.

Please, if you must have gamble events, don’t let them be the only and exclusive way to get a particular vehicle.

Equipment Changes: Suggestion 

 

Binoculars:

The removal of binoculars makes slow TD’s wih no armour, like the SU-85B, Toaster and Nashorn extremely difficult to play as they need a camo net to survive, and then can’t spot for themselves.  

Solution: Binoculars should be the alternative option to Improved Control for all TDs, since TDs don’t really benefit much from Engine Accelerator anyway.  This is balanced since a TD can then be optimised either for long range combat (Binoculars) or close range combat (Improved Control) but will have a serious drawback in the other type of combat.

 

Limitations by Tier:

I don’t think it’s a good idea that all 3 rows of equipment slots can be unlocked on any tank, even a Tier I.  A Cruiser III or Cruiser IV with VSTABs is ridiculously OP at Tier II and III, and is used by sealclubbers to wipe out vast numbers of new players, putting them off playing the game.

 

Solution: Equipment slots should be more limited for lower tiers.  I suggest:

 

  • Tier I: Nothing 
  • Tier II-III: 1st row only
  • Tier IV-VI: 1st and 2nd rows only
  • Tier VII-X: All 3 rows

 

Any player who has researched higher than these limitations on any tank must have the corresponding credits (for Tier I’s) and spare parts refunded, of course.

I think what u say is correct TITUS, an easier solution would be not to change the whole system but to have after research the ability to individually mount so you could have 2 from the same ie :Camo or Binos or Both  at the detriment of one of the other 4 in that same 6 block. I personally never choose the engine power upgrade so this would be perfect for me as id always choose camo and binos.
