Given that the RU server has an online average number of players higher than all the other three added together, it's not surprising.

Standard nations are weaker than Russia while Store bought premiums are downright broken.

I would test much better than LGN ;)

Most noticeable in the unrealistically high rate of fire and low terrain resistance of both Tier X Russian mediums, and in the insanely low aiming time and dispersion of the T-62A.

If we cherry pick stats, yes indeed some of them are better on some russian tanks. As a package I find all lines pretty balanced.

Just drink Vodka, after a while all tanks will look Russian and you’ll play like a pro.

Part by design, part bias if you ask me.

By design russian tanks have efficient, trollish allround armor, good movement and high alpha guns (heavy) / high rate of fire (med). This is compensated by a lack of gun depression and lowish accuracy. It makes them very well suited for most types of brawling, and that is a very big part of this game.

By design the russian lines have features that are easy to master for players and can make you a decent player without having indepth knowledge or tank control needed for some of the more advanced tank lines.

So far OK, every game needs it "Barbarian" line with simple, good, hard hitting stats.

By design they have no obvious weak spots like pimples, turrets, hatches, cupolas (well we had the KV5 until 4.6) that sometimes make superior armor schemes on other lines useless against decnet players. By design there are no "weak" tanks in the lines, most tanks are good tot very good. It always seems that the russian line are getting more attention form balancing team. This part smells more like bias to me. But taking into account this is a russian / belarussian /ukranian game some bias is to be expected.

You can also note they let the VK28 be king of tier 6 for a couple of years. Or now the ARL. Plenty of competition at tier 7 to.  The T34 in current meta beats most IS variants.

etc....

The IS-spam (and predecessors like KV-1 or KV-1S) is often considered "russian bias", but since I played the tanks in that line, and also the IS-6 for credits, I don't really agree on that. Sure they are noob-proof, and besides an unfortunate ammorack you won't get destroyed in seconds like in some other tanks. The guns tho are a huge balancing factor imo. The gun handling on these 400 alpha guns sucks, I learned that the hard way. I equipped the KV-1S till Vstabs because I liked the tank but the aim/bloom/non-existant accuracy just killed too many games because I missed like all my shots even fully aimed.

Now, I'm still a noob of course but an improving one, and I learn how to appreciate tanks with less armor and good guns, like the AMX M4 45 I'm currently grinding. I'm about 50-55 percent winrate in a total armorless tank, that's new for me :)

The KV-1S I thought caught fire a bit too easily though if hit in the side, partly the reason why I sold it back after having enough xp for the next tank...Kept the KV-1 though....

IS7/is4 /t62a vs maus /e100 /m48

t54/is8 /obj 704 vs e75/ jagdtiger/leopard pta

is3/5/defender vs t34/32 tiger 2 /caernavon,

Is /kv13/lttb vs tiger1/p/comet/t29/black prince

kv2/t34-85/su100 vs arl 44/vk 30.01p/jg.pz iv

Above matches seem a pretty fair fight from what I've seen in the game

p.s. (don't own maus ,1s4,m48 but just from watching twister cup and playing against them)

Yep.

But imagin those match up with:

65% winraters

55% winraters

45% winraters

For the first two, I would give a slight russian advantage because of their allround ability, but in certain maps / situations the non russians will prevail easely.

For the last bracket (majority of players), russian will always win.

Ruskitenks are good tank for bad players.

if you have played them and didn’t get bored after a while, then nothing can help you.

for me, I try to play from farther, and as they are all blind and both left handed, it sort of works okay.

Read my guides there

"I want the game to be just how it was launched, no MM limitations for platoons, some unbalanced match once in a while, and friendly fire should come back as well. The only thing they should remove is statistics." -phony1907, 08 July 2016, 05:45pm -

I want just that, and replay files.

Vlad denies any knowledge of there being any bias to Russian tanks and it’s probably sensible to keep such talk down (just in case!)!

Is it Russian bias or historically better tanks?

They had plenty of learning opportunities.

I couldn’t be without my KV-1S.  I love it.  I mean I really really love it...

Bias by Ukas: "We are a people of victors! It's in our genes!" Vlad said in a public speech a while ago, thus the masterrace has expectations set high.

OTOH, the T-54 mod.1 gets track damage like no other.
