Is there anything more boring & more sad than players typing in chat calling other players noobs. The ultimate sad bore has to be the ones that message you callinb you a noob.

For one thing everyone was a noob at one point. The second thing if noobs are so useless why do these sad people think it's such a great achievement when they take out one in a game ?

Call out the noob callers ?

You have to understand that the game can be frustrating and not every person can speak English so the only word they know is noob.

That I understand, but there are English speakers who do it too lots of them. I had one player message me in chat to call me a complete moron. When I said he was a sad man he then told me he was putting me on his banned list. It discourages new players, and it's  not just noob they use it is often personal insults. If you can't take insults don't  insult other people.

Yes my liege.

I sometimes engage them in extremely un-friendly post match banter, if I CBA...

I like to see how quickly they flip...

tell your Mam I left the money on the side as usual, usually does it...

or encourage them to meet in person to settle it like men and confirm with ok C U Next Tuesday, works too :)

I know, I should know better at my age but sometimes you just got to put them back in their box

Remember kids swearing is not big or clever, m’kay?

Although it is funny :)

I agree with Uzless that it is just sad that players, be they good or bad, need to type 'noobs' once they are dead, directed at greens or reds or an individual tank. What does it help? Does it make any one feel better?

Just pointless and sad, really.

unfortunately, yes it does, it makes them feel better about their own inadequacies...

sry man i am the one typing loosers when i see loosers, i dont take that as insult since we loose the game, we must be loosers, the truth is that i blame WG for the toxicity in game, truly if the MM was just a bit better i believe that there will be less toxicity, i do understand there are players not so skillful but why do i get 5 of them in my team 10-20 battles in row?, why they not on the otherside of the game? a lot of this frustration comes from this, but my team is the easiest to blame, eventhoug its not their mistake, they dont play well, the mistake is in distribution of these players betwenn players, but this comes down to basic mechanics of the game, as long as the MM will work this way, there will be toxicity...

PS for me bigger insult is when somebody types "easy" from the opposing team after such a battle! that is more disrespectful than calling loosing team looosers ,-)

Or Gg when it’s been a massacre, they are taking the pis* then...

Me I always admit it when I noob out and have no problem with being called noob when I do it, which is a lot of the time :). Whar gets my goat is when they start with other insults when they are already dead and noob out - I hear dead people, sometimes shuts them up, even better is to carry and downvote em afterwards...

with a quiet word in their shell-like if they’ve been really annoying ;)

Calling someone a noob is about the mildest insult you can make. If you're that easily offended perhaps you shoudn't be playing online games.

The problem with all of this is there could be kids playing this game, so one for reason to disable general chat. Sometimes I cannot resist and re-enable it in game, but anything I type is not going to change the outcome of a game.

I had a couple  recently, playing my M36 Jackson did 4 kills and 2000+ damage but a fellow 'team player' said I was the worst M36 player ever (they were in MT25 and did only 715 damage)! Then I was in the Centurion 7/1 and went to cap A on my own but ran into 5 of the reds (makes your choice and pays the price) and a fellow 'team player' called me an idiot in game which didn't bother me but after game in messaging spent the time to spell idiot one line at a time (I.D.I.O.T) so I responded 'thanks for spelling it out for me, it takes one to know one' and waited for a response, he then started spouting off about his win percentages and stats and I looked up his number of games played @ 3,0000 ( I have played >35,0000!) so responded I see you have not played many games and he said this is my second account to which I responded 'obviously been banned before' and never heard another word out of him ! :)

I find noob calling boring and childish, as for the other very nasty stuff there is no need for it. It would be nice if WG could find a way of stopping it or maybe banning people who do it.
Noob calling is just boring kids stuff, but the other stuff is nasty.
I've had all sorts of insults, it doesn't  bother me what some sad person thinks of my playing, it's just a game.I just keep telling them they are boring and I'm not bothered what they think, they should get a life.
I'm a  noob and I'm not that good at the game, so what.
Noobs unite, noobs be proud of your noobness. We make the others look better.

Lol

When you begin this game everyone calls you a noob.

When you improve you call everyone else a noob.

When you have nothing left to prove you call no one a noob....

No. Noob is the one that doesn’t improve after significant number of games. New players are the new players, not noobs. If you have below 50% wr after 10k and continue to play like an imbecile, then you are a noob. But I don’t call anyone “noob”, I call them “imbeciles”, because they are imbeciles for not learning how to play this game after significant number of games. Consider this game as IQ test, if players are below 45% WR after 10k they are in the mentally inadequate/low intelligence categories and can be called imbeciles.

Recently, a deceased member of the sealclubbing fraternity PM'd me after a battle.  I was told: "UR morron".

So a low WR measured over one battle doesn't indicate low IQ.  It just marks you out as a Spanish bell pepper.
