I quite like it, the Russian grind is pretty easy even for a noob like me 30, maybe 40 games, less with premium time, I hope the others are as easy...

I think it’s a bit convoluted but you can just play your normal game and get free stuff and maybe a new tank, what’s not to like?

You don't have to drive Russian tanks, you can do it any tank, the only "Russian" effect is if you pay for the cammo. Might be worth it for the Churchill III but I doubt it for any other tank.

Yeah, I put the Eagle camo. on my Churchy III for the extra pins.

I did it, finished Russian stage, it took more games than I thought, 60 and 4 hours so if others are similar level of grind should be do-able with a couple of hours play each day even for noobs like me, anyone in platinum or diamond leagues should find this a doddle...

Hi everyone.

My national football team is the current European Champion - Portugal - and my local team is Benfica (after 4 yeast in row being league champions, this season we finished 2nd...).

Now it’s time for me to support my country team in Russia’s Worls Championship, so... go win them all Ronaldo & associates!!!

Play wisely, be brave, and allways, but allways, help your team mates.

I would like to quote one of the last sentences of the news article about the equipment changes (https://wotblitz.eu/en/news/updates/equipment-5-0/):

The fewer in-game currencies there are, the easier it is to get a grasp on the game and focus on the most important thing—tank combat.

This sounds like a very sound principle :medal:

However, when I read through the football event news text I find: Footballs Fan's Pins, Footballs, Football Cups, Experience Points and Gold

Additionally, there is camouflages, premium time, rating battles and probably more.

When are you guys from WG going to take your own medicine and cut down on these overcomplicated events?

I need to know something about this event.

I just finished the "Russian" part of the event and i still have 285 extra pins left over from that stage.I wonder if these pins from the previous stage can be used to complete stages in the "France" part of the event? And for the remaining stages of the event.

Anyone care to explain if we can "stockpile" pins like this or are we not allowed to do so?

No, you can not. They are getting removed after every Blitz time

The trick is each stage has more cups to earn so will be harder to do, 1cup for Russia then 2, 3, 4 and finally five for England to get the tank!  As an added incentive I reckon you will win the attachment before the end to encourage people to spend some gold to get the tank, I also think last 2 stages will be a grind of 10/12 hours a day for 2 days without the camo so if you want the tank you either have to spend gold for camo’s or gold to close out the stages...

As has been noted here, it’s classic rope-a-dope, draw you in thinking it’s an easy win and then punch you really hard right between the eyes

Cos it’s not netball or rounders or one of the other daft American sports that most other civilised countries don’t play?

Or cos they are so bad at football they didn’t qualify?

:)

My favourite is the England one, natch!

I just wanna thank WG for this great event, relaxing and not too hardcore so I can actually also watch the IRL football matches. If this stays like this I will spend some money at the end of the event on a Premium tank because this is simply fair!

Next Blitz-Times will be a little harder, But I think you won't have difficulties with them

Looking at gold/cups/football requirements, expect the last two stages to be very long grinds.

It should be achievable but will take extensive playing over the two day per stage.

WG how about putting some effort into fixing and updating the Forum

I finished the French stage, took me twice as long as Russian one, I'm hoping that's not a sign of things to come...

Although RL compo. really got going to night Spain 3 - Christiano Ronaldo 3, I know that's not fair on rest of Portugal team but man what a match and what a performance from the fella....

Seems like WG are over valuing the attachment, tank still looks grind-able but big step up for attachment so I’m abandoning grind for that.  I think are attachments are meh and certainly not worth any gold or extra games just to get it.

The Japanese leg is a big step up pins wise and concerned now about time for grind for German and England stages as during work days :(

Few footballs on the back aren't worth it.

Personally I expect the following scenario: The next stage will also be 6k pins and the last stage will be 8k or 10k pins. They can increase pin costs because people will be heavily invested. I know I can't stop the grind now. The only difference for me is, if WG is fair and let's us grind the CDC with 6k pins I will spend some money on a T5 or T6 Premium to reward them. If not, I will grab the CDC for free and don't spend money.

Another overcomplicated multilayer grind event. For a tank which is only loved by masochists, as far as I can tell. Dracula after giving up the steroids.

Nah it’s Dracula that eats way too many pies. It’s bad and I mean bad. There isn’t a rock on any map big enough to hide behind :D.
