This tank should not be played frontally against another with very few exceptions so people go for vents.

I use calibrated shells on autoloader tanks (Bat Chat 25tAP and T57 heavy)

Calibrated shells on all autoloaders.

I prefer to wait some seconds longer for the clip to reload to get the better pen.

I use vents for my AMX 50B as it bring all of the stats up not just Penetration. Also 50B Penetration seems decent enough already dont see a massive Need for just pen increase

I’d go for cal shells. I use it on some non-autoloaders also. If crew not maxed out vents may be a viable option.

Depends, some tanks where the pen struggles but which do not rely on dpm, I use the calibrated shells. The longer reload I use to get the f out of here and prepare my next sneaky attack.

if I really think like the pen is comfortable to work with, and especially which allow me to get the good angle I need without being too worried,  then I go vents because I’m to lazy to think of all the small things it does better, but hey it will be better, right ?

in other words, I don’t do that same one for all my tanks.

im referring especially to french tanks here, but I’m also thinking of the other light tanks with little pen and long reloads, like the T49, or tanks with great HE pen which can always be even better, but who rely on staying concealed anyways LeKpz and ru.

when you are concealed u can have all the time in the world to reload, you are not brawling, and if ever u get caught, then I rely on adrenaline.

Read my guides there

"I want the game to be just how it was launched, no MM limitations for platoons, some unbalanced match once in a while, and friendly fire should come back as well. The only thing they should remove is statistics." -phony1907, 08 July 2016, 05:45pm -

I want just that, and replay files.

Good point

reloading time can actually be used in your advantage (not always), repositioning, reset camo

it does require a different approach and play style.

On some slow/very slow reloading platforms I often prefer cal shells (St Emil f.e). More important that every shoot count than benefit a marginal reload buff. But it’s maybe just personal preferences in the end.
