Hello and welcome to my topic , have you ever tried to design a Soviet tank? Well if you have then you can share your ideas here , when designing make sure to put in the tier, armour, damage , reload ,disspersion ,and so on. Even add a drawing or image if you like! Hope to be hearing your ideas soon!

Not a design but rather an innovation. I would remove turret mounted 12.7mm DHSK from all Soviet tanks. It is literally a heavy machine gun located in front of the loaders hatch. How can the loader use it when he is supposed load shells? Why does it have no gun shield against small arms or aircraft strafing? What can a single mg with iron sights do against aircraft?

I honestly dont understand Russians. Either manpower was as abundant as water or they had way too many tanks. These tanks already had light mgs next to main gun with stadiametric rangefinders. Why add more firepower that cant be utilized properly in combat scenarios?

Out of interest why restrict it to Soviet tank design?

Also OP, are you a Dave who is upset or someone who wants to upset people called Dave?  :)

I'm going ahead and making a better tankenstein (I'm making it for my playstyle and since im a scrub with an IS7 it may seem quite noob friendly), not that its bad, i just got it from mad games after playing 60-70 games a day non stop and the tankensteing was WORTH IT, it's a blast to play. But it's kind of impractical in more ways than one, for example it's woefully slow.

Before anyone points it out, im using parts EQUIPPABLE on tier 8 tanks, not parts which shown to be tier 8 in the tech tree. So you may have tier 9 or even t10 parts, e.g. The BL-10.

Tier 8 improved tankenstein:

Turret: T32 top turret

Gun: Choice between BL-10 (nerfed -40% reload speed) or AMX 50 100 top gun (Clip reload nerfed -10%)

Hull and chasse: WZ 112

Engine: Kv-5 engine

Speed: 42 km/h

Health: 1300

DMG:(BL 10) 640/545/960 (SA47) 310/250/350

Reload:(BL 10) 20 secs  (SA47) 22.5 secs, intra shot reload is 3 secs, 3 shots in clip

(That's what she said) Penetration: BL-10: 286/329/90 SA47: 232/263/50

Armour Turret298/197/152 Hull: 170/40/40 (extra frontal 40 mm is added spaced armour )  ( 10 mm of side armour is spaced)

This tank is meant to be a friendly-ish tank which will forgive mistakes and dish out punishment quite well, it has spaced armour to soften up

HEAT and gobble up HE, HESH and maybe the odd HEP if you meet the Kpz 70, however the thin sides and rear, along with low hp will punish

you for rushing or getting flanked so be careful not to be blinded by it's good speed for a heavy tank. Support mediums and rush to

help undefended areas.

My suggestion for a new Soviet premium tank:

Name: T-35A

Type: Heavy

Tier: III

Gun: 76 mm L-10 (T-28 stock gun), penetration 66/75/20, RoF 5.36

Speed: 28 kph

Hull traverse: 20 degrees

Turret traverse: 30 degrees

Engine: M-17L (580 hp)

Hitpoints: 800 (!)

Weight: 54 tons

Armour: 30/20/20 on both hull and turrets.  10 mm spaced armour on hull sides over the tracks.

This is the enormous Soviet giant multi-turreted behemoth the T-35 - the most famous Soviet tank before WWII, always seen on parade in Red Square.  It’s bigger than the T-28, but not as big as the TOG II.  And it’s twice as fast as the TOG (but doesn’t traverse faster).

Like the TOG, the selling point of the T-35A is its massive hitpoint pool.  800 hitpoints is absolutely insane for a Tier III tank (twice as much as a BT-7 Artillery, and 300 more than the T-28, which is a tier higher).

For historical details, see: http://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/soviet/soviet_T-35.php

A premium drawn from real life, and from another war game. SHOCK HORROR  *** thunder

OBJECT 120 "Taran" aka russian laser pointer.

The unique selling point of this tank is the pinpoint accuracy and enormous pen and damage, however it has a MASSSSSSSSSSSSSIVE reload, im talking like 40 seconds, but you'll NEVER miss and you'll always pen. This thing has a fully rotatable turret (i think) so camo net may be of use.

You can only load maybe 10 ammo

Tier 10 premium.

Health: 1500 (very Lowe, hahah get it lowe?)

Armour: 30/20/10 hull and turret

Average DAMAGE: 1800/1300/2200 (premium is HEAT) bottom roll: 1600/1150/1900 top roll: 2000/1450/2500

Reload:40-45 secs maybe

(almost forgot this)Average Pen: 440/500/45 bottom roll: 400/450/40 top roll: 480/550/50

Dispersion (100m) 0.05m

Aim time: 3 secs

Speed: 65km/h (a little bit below mentioned speed on *** **under wiki)

30000 gold lol  (for one crate) with 0.000% chance for obj 120

A premium tank costing 696969 gold with obj263 hull at tier 1, with a fv215b 183 turret on top keeping its original gun aswell, with dpm as high as snoop dog at 4:20 and a maus engine with top speed of 60km and traverse of 69 degrees at hull and 21 degrees at turret. I call it the object 420.    And a legendary camo called blaze it which changes the vehicle’s name to object 420 blaze it the Stalin joint and increase camo rating by 100 percent so that you will have more chance seeing John cena that this tank.

Object 312, a tier VIII medium (yes very original)

HP: 1350 (elite), 1280 (stock)

Average damage: 400 (elite), 200 (stock)

Penetration: 185mm/245mm/50mm (AP, HEAT, HE, elite), 144mm/198mm/32mm (AP, APCR, HE, stock)

Dispersion: 0.365 (elite), 0.342 (stock)

Aim time: 3.0s (elite), 2.4s (stock gun)

Depression: 7° (elite), 7° (stock gun and turret)

Reload time: 14.5s (elite), 5.1s (stock)

Turret armor: 95/80/50 (refer to the T-44-100 turret, elite), 75/60/40 (stock)

Hull armor: 90/50/40 (refer to the T-34-2 hull)

Track traverse: 55°/sec (elite), 45°/sec (stock)

Engine power: 750hp (elite), 500hp (stock)

Top speed: 58km/h (elite), 42km/h (when stock, won't be able to hit top speed)

Weight: 33.75t (elite), 32.5t (stock)

---

What I think of the Object 312 is a T-44 with a 122mm done right. While it retains the same gun flexibility as the LB-1, the gun also has a higher level of penetration. It trades this for a poor reload time and rather high dispersion, as also a lower level of armor protection. The turret isn't as reliable as compared to the T-44, and the hull armor resembles more the T-34-2 than it does the T-44.

Spoiler: it's a tech tree tank.
