Hello tank commanders,

I have been playing the VK28 in WoTB for years.

It is one of my top 3 favorite tier 6 tanks, along with the KV2 and the underrated/underused Jag4.

IMHO, if you like to play fast tanks, this little “rabbit-assassin” is still  the best hide&seeker in Tier 6.

Would you guys agree?

Totally! I love this tank it’s a great little runner and has a pretty decent gun

A good tank but I don't like driving it anymore as it's just a shadow of its former glorious self. Still probably the best fast tank in VI alongside the Cromwell/Bromwell. Decent gameplay and you really like your animal comparisons but... Cammo net on a Light tank? Nope, definitely not with your gamestyle.

Never a big fan of it, other stuff did it better. My fave low med has always been pz1Vs.. the starchaser...love that thing. I know it's a premium but I got it out of a crate, so as far as I'm concerned it's a freebie.:)

I really liked it but I'm not driving it anymore since my stats in it will get destroyed by the new MM :D

I haven't tried the SP1C yet, guess it's even harder now then before to drive so not gonna happen.

The Starchaser is probably the best Tier VI Medium tank, alongside the Bromwell, but I wouldn't really compare it to the VK28.01, as it's much, much slower so I wouldn't categorize it as hide/seeker. The Starchaser is more like a Centurion I, just better. It's brilliant at holding hills and long-distance battle plus it gets phenomenal DPM but it has in no way a similar playstyle to the VK28 or Cromwell.

I'm not comparing the vk28 to starchaser, but in my opinion lights and meds are of the same persuasion. So when picking a fave I've got 3 categories... TD,  heavy and med. Starchaser is quite unique in its play style, and it's gun is like a surgeons scalpel.

What about the T-34-85? Wasn't that among the best tier 6 tanks in another thread?

I wrote: "The T34-85 might be not THE best but also one of the best Meds in Tier VI. Also definitely no need for a buff." :)

I gave up playing tier6. I don’t have a reason, I just don’t like it anymore.

tog is still fun though.

maybe it’s just the lack of new tanks. I just accumulate credits farming my lekpz and lowered my winrate with my last tier 9 grinds instead. Im in serious neeed for higher tier light tanks premium right now.

Read my guides there

I want just that, and replay files.

Had you truly believed it was that good why not mention it here as well?

Sry for answering to him. I fear like this response is going to trigger another 100 crazy Canny posts. Its like with cigarette addiction. You work hard on getting off them but you only take one smoke and it all starts over again.

I have no plans to get one, although I know it’s very good.   It just leads up a line that doesn’t appeal.   If they unnerfed the SP1C I would reconsider but both that and the RU suck imho.

Oddly, it shares the same gun as the VK.30.01H, a tank I really didn’t like, partly for that reason and partly because it looked too much like the DW2 but without being as OP.

The RU 251 has the fastest top end speed in the game, one of the best dpm in tier aside from a couple of TDs, with high pen HE, gets HEAT for prammo, good gun handling, very low silhouette, ten degrees of gun depression and an amazing camo rating on top of on the move camo. The Ru doesn't suck...….

yes.

i love how the little thing can take a direct frontal shell from a KV2 and still live to fight on.

I do prefer to have the cammo net equipment on all tanks except for a couple of TDs. I like the capability  of greater stealth if the gameplay dictates it beneficial. But yes as always there are difficult tradeoffs.
