WG could solve the problem of re-roll sealclubbers by:

  1. ignoring the player’s overall battle count
  2. putting anyone with 60+ win rate in the tank he’s driving (and his number of battles in that tank is higher than 10 times the tier of the tank) into the veterans MM queue.

So for example, once a sealclubber re-roller gets to 30 battles in his T-46, he is denied access to the newbies MM queue in the T-46 from then on, and has to play with the veterans instead.  Forcing him to either switch to another tank, or re-roll again if he wants to keep clubbing.

It is slippery slope towards skill-based MM (i.e. one additional step away from random). Another way would be to put any tank with over 100 battles to veteran queue. That way newbies can progress through all low/medium tier tanks in newbie queue, but if they stop to statpad (with leo, dw2, ...) for ages they go see normal opponents.

Better close your pocket for WG if you hope for something constructive.

Just the usual Trolls.  Filter and ignore, then all is well.  Geomal, I don't include you in the troll remark.  Just don't feed them and ignore.

As long as you are playing the game, you are contributing to WG, even if not playing. Uninstall the game, leave the forums and you will really hurt WG. You will also have more time to prove the earth is indeed flat.

I don't understand why WG is not just fine tuning these clubbers choise tanks? Why there has to be some tanks in every tier to make things toxic and ruin fun for others.

Or arrange special games where 14 Leos or KV-2s are smashed together.

I would wager that more noobs drive Leos and KV-2s than seal clubbers.

Its is very easy to test the effect of the matchmaking changes on your winrate or statistics, ofcourse this is a very narrow test and not representative, but you get the idea.

This weekend I played on of off my old account (opened longtime ago but with 2000 battles or something; account name is SorryMyPingIsBad). I played tier 10 and tier 8, to see how if went. Winrate was >> 60% and wn8 >> 2300. Basically these are very good results for my skills and during weekend matchmaking; and they are in line with my main account historical stats. I did not play any ratingsbattles, only encounter.

Before that I played on my regular account; I got clobbered, lots of steamrolls and erratic teams. Total results, wn8 1950 and winrate 55%, and this was with the better weekdays matchmaking. I realize this is a bit anecdotal, but it gives you an idea of what to expect. Basically what players need to realize there is a new baseline and your current stats will reflect your baselined skillset in a more competetive environment. Understand players are not happy about this, but that is just how it will be. Unless you want to reroll every 4999 games xd.

Give it a shot and post your own results and experiences here.

Good luck hunting and see you on the Greenfields.

I just have my 30 days stats.

Current account : ave tier = 6.44, win8=1800 (painfully recovering from my noobing after V5.3)

Alt account (<2500 battles, 2 years old) : ave tier = 6.37, win8 = 3100 (what a joke)

WR accordingly.

When new players will cross the 5000 battles boundary, it will hurt.

My 30 day winrate is 61.3%, 60 days wr 64.5%. My career wr at tier9 is 58%, so I expected (and just managed) to keep decent wr even after the change. However, the difference is strong in other stats, WN8, kill ratio, dmg ratio, etc. Those clearly tell I am less competitive in middle tiers after the change.

It used to be so that in bad run at t9-t10 one should go relax in e.g. tiers 5-6. Now I am not sure, t9 might be the least affected tier.
