Hi guys,

Anyone else buy the “The Bully” when it was on sale recently?

If you ever played any tier 6/7 against the M6A2E1, then you know how formidable the red-faced beast is.

I bought the M6A2E1 premium tank with gold when it was on sale several weeks ago. It was 5000 gold normal price, and i snagged the 25% discount, so only paid 3750 gold.

After playing about 450 games with it, IMHO it is actually worth 10k gold!! I recommend that you consider it strongly next time it comes available.

Checkout my fresh reviews in Part 1 and Part 2 and see for yourself...

Turret cheeks are easily penned.

Since I know better where to shoot at it, it's not as great anymore imo :P And I noticed that the average player knows better how to deal with it than a couple of months ago.

And I don't like the gun on it, it's like a much worse T29 gun.

But it's certainly a good allround tank, but protect those sides! I wouldn't pay 10k gold for it though :)

Usually only relatively “easy” when playing against tier 8 heavies/TD who use prammo

Its amazing how many players in 6/7, and tier 8 lights/mediums, still try to battle it face to face.

I've found at least the SU-100M1 has no trouble with AP and even the 175mm pen of a Super Pershing has little trouble at close range.

However it is hardly huge weak spot.

I don’t own this tank and regret not buying it at the time. I never quite enjoy engaging it on the red side. Yes, you can pen it, but it needs a bit of time to zoom in to the weak spots ... and that is exactly the time this bully needs to pen me :(

True, it can be very effective. But with the teams I get during this event I find it pretty much unplayable. The tank can handle bad teams but not if everything falls down in the first minute or 2. The sides are huge and weak and you need either mobility or all round armor to deal with multiple reds. That said, some people are just dumb and keep attacking from the front, that's their mistake :)

It's a tank I like to take out now and then but I'm glad it wasn't as expensive for me, because I didn't think it was worth more gold. But it's a great distraction from the IS-spam, both from me and the reds.

And excepting the fact that SP has 205mm pen, not 175.

Based on stats it is one of the best tier VII tanks out there. The turrets cheeks can be penned, but still it is a formidable beast.

Just a little buff for Panther II, please

true dat.

anyone else notice that nubs have taken over the game ever since the new christmas conpetition started?  Seems like there is allot of players just starting games and then leaving the room, hoping to collect a free win for one of their parking spaces.

do you think the t29 is a good competitor, or the best heavy, for tier 7? I was thinking of getting one.

T29 is a beast. Same turret as the T30, but surprisingly mobile and the hull is fairly troll against many tanks it will face making it stronger tier for tier than the T34, imho.

The tiger though is my nomination for best tVII heavy.

I didn’t really like the T29 until I’d got the upgrades done and skills over 85%.

T30 is great though, and the T32 is lovely, even though it’s gun leaves something to be desired.

T29 seems better in other people's hands than mine!

Absolutely dire playability when I first got it meant that a run of losses led to numerous posts on "help required" from myself, which have eventually enabled me to appreciate slightly more this tank.

It is still IMO not as good as other tanks in this tier, but it can be a beast in the right hands!

I would agree on the Tiger I being the best Tier VII heavy - at least in the hands of a capable player and among the more accessible tanks. If you count in Premiums - well, it would be the tank with the disease name and disease looks. Havent played the T29 for a long time but it still looks fabulous. Rarely see them in capable hands though these days so its not as scary as it used to be. Havent played the goose tanks but I really dont like facing them in other Heavies. They are much less of a problem for meds and other fast tanks.

Why do you feel the tiger 1 is better than tiger P?

It's a lot more agile  for one thing. Tiger P is more noob friendly, because armour, but it's slower to respond.
