So, is this really 7000/8000 gold for a new skin on the Sherman at Tier VI?

Yes but if you want to sell your t6 Kuro MM back to WG you get 1.7k gold back

Makes sense...

Buy it, wait 6 months for WG to turn it into a “Collector” tank.

It gets nerfed past the techtree version.

WG offer you 500gold to sell it.

Not quite.

The Loza has quicker aim time, and has laser beam accuracy on its gun (way better dispersion than any other Sherman, even better than the Pz.IVS actually).  Its dispersion is equal to the Panther I with the top 7,5 cm Kw.K. L/100 gun - (you know, the one that's so long that it sticks out 100m in front of the tank?)

Because Russian bias.  Loza is a Hero of the Soviet Union.  He never misses his shots.

The Loza absolutely does not need a gun laying drive.  Meaning you can pick Supercharged shells instead.  That will give the Loza higher shell velocity than the Panther I, making it even more accurate.

If you're a noob, and you want to shoot weakspots like a pro, buy this tank.  It will do half the job for you.

I was tempted because it's cheap and I have heaps of gold after the event.  But, I'm not going to get it.  Reason being collectable tanks.  Premiums are just not safe any more particularly at that tier.  After all my KV T220 is going to get battered with the collectors club soon enough as it is.  Unless someone can convince me otherwise it's a no from me on this one.  Any premiums I do buy are tier 7 and above only from now on (even then they have to be worth it).

Have you considered buying only normal tech tree tanks with silver, kind of playing ultra safe with possible tank nerfs. Just sit on top of mountain of gold coins so that they will not get wasted under any circumstances.

I’m yet to hear from anyone who’s actually driven this (including me - who saw and bought it before I’d even had a coffee this morning) who, having done so, would then choose to drive this over a fury, e8, victory, Cromwell b pz4s......the list of better meds goes on.

It’s not a bad tank but it’s 7-8000 gold.

In fairness its got a good gun but just lacks mobility- especially when hills are involved.

It simply doesn’t have enough power.

...i dont understand why everyone think that if tank is made "blue" u need to sell it?

T-22 and T95E6 are blue....... Everyone hoped to get get them from supergame.... For it me it looks odd... This blue are bad (yee no characteristics changet, only become blue), and should be sold to get 5€$£ worth of gold but for this blue one i will sell kidney and lung ....and get minor "chance" to "win" it it some BS game.

And no "blue" tank a owe tier 5 have been nerfed (yet) and for low tiers... WG made clear that they wanted to stop sealclubing ... I honestly find it also BE when player have 70% WR 20k battles and 10k of them are in one or 2 low tier tanks.... And in tier 6-8 his WR are below 50%

Blue doesn’t mean nerf - the baby blue panther at 6 seems just as good.

However...  Pretty much everything at tier 5 and below has been nerfed - be they tech tree, blue or yellow.

This is so there isn’t such a yawning unbridgeable gap between 4 and 5.

Everything I played at 5 has had a hit point nerf (tech tree) or a nasty mobility nerf via soft stats for premiums like the excelsior which was quite nippy but it now feels like a gigantic slug.

i think the only tier 5 that hasn’t is the scavenger. That feels the same which is probably why it’s played so much.

That WoT post once again makes me worry about WG’s technical competence to think through any reasonable complex optimization problem.

And note that WG never once considered the easiest and most sensible option - drop the KV-5 from Tier VIII down to Tier VII.

All balancing problems instantly solved. No need to tweak the matchmaker or buff the tank.  Owners get (in effect) a better tank, since they wouldn't see Tier IX and would see Tier VI opponents.  The only downside is earning less credits, because the tank is a tier lower.

Historically, the KV-3 and KV-5 were contemporary projects.  So IMO the KV-5 has always been a tier higher than it should be.

In Blitz, as a Tier VII, it should have no need for any armour buffs from the original release (vulnerable R2D2 back), should have its engine horsepower cut from 1,200 hp to 1,000 hp, should have no need for its new top gun (removed), have its hull traverse cut from 21 degrees to 18 degrees, and have its hitpoints cut from 1,600 to 1,500 (still more than any existing Tier VII heavy).

...and a tiger 1 should have a turret traverse of 65 seconds (360 degrees) and be moved to tier 6ish, and (never ending story)....

The  problem or concern is that premium tanks have been converted to collector tanks and then nerfed becoming collector stanks usless in the game, yes this was done in the tiers I-IV rebalance (slaughter).

If they are not intending to nerf or change the characteristics or the tank why are they converting it into a collectors tank? Just leave it as a premium they are not in the tech tree so you cannot argue that they clutter or confuse the tech tree. New introductions into the game such as the T-22 being collectors tanks could be nerfed and without a valid complaint, people bought or won them knowing that they were collector tanks and so could be subjected to a nerf.

Premium tanks becoming a collectors tank is a prelude to them being nerfe,  particularly I think the KV220 T is likely to be nerfed as it is op against tier IV, V and is just ok against tier VI. That is why, we no longer trust that WG will not alter the collectors tanks that used to be premium.

When they do this it for me will kill off any desire to buy premium tanks. Why buy it Monday, is converted to collector status Tuesday and Nerfed on a Wednesday, without a decent compensation for the x,000's gold or real money spent. If they could be believed and would make a firm promise not to do this it might calm the fears.

As currently because of this I intend to be a F2P player for 2019 and maybe beyond. The only thing I can anticipate buying at the moment is garage spaces when they go on sale. For which I will use the existing stockpile of gold.

As Peddy says the only reason to convert to collector is to nerf them, why not leave as premium?

I’ve had fun with kv-220T and will try it out again in 5.7 but fully expect I’ll sell it for the gold when nerfed in 5.8/5.9 - they wouldn’t dare nerf it and not announce it would they?

Same here, I'm not spending another penny on premium tanks that's for sure.  Nerfing existing premium tanks into collectables, then changing them is a step to far for me.  So I too will become Freemium player from now on until WG give me that warm feeling again.  I'm not going to spend my cash on wagons not knowing if they will get changed in such a way.

I currently have 6 months premium account and a stack of gold to see me through.  If I buy anything it will be with the stockpile I already have.  I'll keep a close eye on how WG behave for the next 6 months.  So for the time being they have lost my custom.  A shame really as I do like to buy what I fancy and it supports the game but I feel that WG will change the status of the premium tanks I have at any moment, so why buy more?

I am selling my Anko straight away.  Will sell the KMM as soon as I'm at 100 battles or more and at least 50% WR in it.  My KV 220T is a keeper for now.  Like M e Eazy I'll see how it is after the nerf to it.

I’m same as you, I’ve got a stash of gold, 200days of premium left so not buying anything else until I see how things pan out...

There's been no indication that "collectable" tanks will be nerfed, as far as I know. Ribblestripe seems pretty clear about it in his reply to Cornish_Dyowl in the update thread.
I think the idea is to differentiate between credit making premiums and more standard special tanks. Having a pool of tanks that aren't researchable gives WG a shed load of cheap rewards/teasers/whatever they can pad events and crates with.
