i have just returned to playing since a 10 day break, and find that 30% (ish) of my first battle shots "and all well aimed" shots are hitting the ground infront or, or ground underneath the target tank!

I even have to change aimpoint to the top of the target tank to simply hit the tracks!

Has anything been changed!

Hey chap.

 

Not that I know of personally. But I do believe shots from the RHM Borsig in particular like to hit the ground just in front of the tank I’m aiming at, so I usually have to lift the gun a little, slightly bit higher than the part of the red I’d like to hit. Velocity/air resistance thing probably, never paid attention in physics.

Have that short of a 15cm gun and ofcourse shots will drop off earlier. You are  didntright somebody pay attention in class. I mean its an arcade game but still does some stuff slightly realistic.

Except that in blitz you point at the place you’d like to hit and the game calculates the ballistics based on distance, shell velocity etc and then applies rng to it

RNG!!! Not really what I would call rnd! If it is RND, then why has it suddenly been more evident?

if it more evident, thensomething has changed, and therefore it is not RND it is being imposed to a greater degree, which is not random it's fixed!

Try hitting something with Glacial if it is more than 5 metres away, then you can moan about it....

I thought something had changed on Kv-2 in 6.0 as it felt like I was dropping short more than before but couldn't be bothered to capture replays to try and investigate, although I have tons of old replays (well 2 pages worth) on wotinspector.com and if I CBA I could try and set up the same shots in training rooms to see if they are any different but...

I can't ;)

 

I just work on the basis RNGesus wants me for a sunbeam and It's like that (what?) and that's the way it is

AND STILL! DERP canons are never accurate. Thats Tha whole point of them here. They are gambling practically. Yes you are right the game calculates it for you but still has a small drop, its not important but.
