I only have a tier 3 tank, and the holiday shop is no where to be found inside the game. I can play the adventure game though. Do you need to own a certain tier tank to buy chests or whatever they are called, in the holiday shop?

Don't worry, mate, there's little to get excited about. Learn to be great in your tier 3 tank/s, then move on. Build your credits, build your crew skills, don't rush to tier 10 too fast. By next Xmas, you'll be doing great and be able to win loads.
