Hi friends,

I have researched tier 6 vehicles by now:

  • Hellcat (TD)
  • Jackson (TD)
  • M4A3E8 Sherman (medium)
  • VK 30.01.D (medium)
  • VK 28.01 (light)
  • P 43 Bis

Now which one should I choose? Or shall I play the Crusader and grind till I get the Cromwell?

Many thanks in advacne:)

For me it’s in this order: vk 28, sherman, vk 30, hellcat

All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Okay, I think the VK 28 is Hit and Run gameplay. Like the Leopard. My friends are all grinding for the European Union tank line. The P 43 Bis. Is that not a good tank?

Your reference is just the opposite of what Mr. Replicant said :)

For me it’d be the Hellcat or the VK28, but also pushing on with the grind for the Cromwell.

I checked, i compared both the tanks.. Hellcat has no armor but good damage and depression, VK has better armor, smaller size but no depression :)

So now more confused...

P.43 isn't that bad but the next one seems to be to better.

VK 28.01 a ton of fun but KV-2s and derp TDs will force you to adapt.

Cromwell is fun and can easily hunt down lights plus can also fill in the lights job of spotting when you have no lights or they are dead.

VK 30.01 D seems like a meh tank probably alright but I never played it since I got the Panther via VK 30.02 M before it's removal.

Hellcat is pro TD player levels you got to constantly look at the map and relocate to get good side shots but it's fun.

M36 Jackson is the opposite of the Hellcat but is also fun you just need to move around to set up ambush spots. The tank has some what better armour then the Hellcat although never count on it.

M4A3E8  is not bad either its very mobile and good at ridge line fighting.

Everything apart from the P.43 and the VK 30.01 D (they just don't seem as fun to play even with  top modules) are a good pick its just the matter of what play style you like.

Hellcat allows you to play as a light tank and a TD. Go with that one.

Okay friends! Thanks for the answers. I finally got the VK Medium after comparing tanks and their features. I got this to reach the E50.

I tried to take the HellCat but I realized it not my kind of play style. The VK Medium seems to have all that matches my play style. I also saw videos about p 43, no one says its good. I hope I made correct decision.

The VK 30.01 D is a hidden gem of a tank. I loved playing it. I think it was supposed to be the prototype Tiger tank so it has the famous 88mm gun. You chose wisely.

Oops you decided already ... I clicked this comparison for you!

Hellcat is a very handy TD and can be very effective on most maps, but especially those with more uneven terrain with lots of hard and soft cover.  The first part of the game you are a "fargin sneaky barsteward" doing the whole shooting and scooting thing (or actually resetting camo) then as things work out you can either push as a light tank on the flank or even dash around the map to take survivors roughly from the derrière!

VK28 has been nerfed a little AFAIR from its glory days, but is still highly effective and carries more armour than most other Lights.  The 30 isn't really prep for the tiger unless you're talking about the Tiger II with regards to the angling of the armour, but that applies equally to the 28.  I also think it has the 7.5 gun not the 88.  The Cromwell sits in the shadow of the B variant, but really shouldn't it is every bit as capable and the numbers speak for themselves!

Imho the best startup for Tier 6 is the T34-85, just because it leads to T-43 and the russian meds have a bit of armour and the guns are ok

Hellcat leads to TDs, which are not easy to play.

Vks are big fun, but in higher tiers the german meds are not "beginnerfriendly".

Cromwell would be my second choice, cause Comet is fun, beyond you have to learn hulldown and use of territorium.

P43 is a great tank, once you can handle a great gun, but nearly no armour and not the fastest engine. But above Tier 8 they become nearly op.

Just my thinking

Gah, yes correction. Its the VK 30.01 P I was thinking about with the 88mm gun. I mixed them up. I mean they aren't terribly creative with these naming conventions are they.... Das vil be der VK 30.01 P und das vil be der VK 30.01 D. Ja wohl!

Good choice, the VK30.01D is a brilliant tank, not as mobile as the light version but very capable.

Personally I have first gone down the Leo line and love it (with an exception of the VK30.02D which is the most underwhelming piece of scrap metal).

The IndienPz. And Leo PTA are just brilliant meds.

Have fun with your Panthers ! I need to start grinding mine soon as well.

VK28 is the best and most fun tier 6 tank. The others are not bad either. You better master them all before moving into tier 7 or higher.

I'll just tell that the most overpowered of the list is the VK 28.01

Hellcat is very fast, no armor

Jackson is slow, decent frontal armor. Better gun than the hellcat

P.43 is average, slowish medium, good armor, 90mm gun at the price of KV-2's shell velocity.

Other 2 i didn't play

The most fun tie VI tank is the VK36.01H, IMHO. OP... At least, I always found it good, and then they buffed it :)
The next three for me are Hellcat, Chaffee and VK30.01 (D).
