Re the strategy as it’s already been noted, it’s more nuanced than just all hill, a combination of hill with good supporting sniping from TD’s at the back and meds/TD’s from the lighthouse to the hill is very effective...
Higher tier games you will see that a lot but you will also see a lot of flanking through town to split the enemy fire/distract them and to get shots on to the snipers so that can allow a hill push and again can be very effective...
but anything tier vi or lower just go hill...

I have also got to the hill first, if I have a faster tank, only to find zero team backing me up, so have driven straight over the back into the town, only to find all the greens going to the lighthouse where they are accessible to every red camping above the spawn, Every red who makes the hill, and then every red who circles to hill!

This sort of behaviour of going everywhere except hill seems to be the default in Euro server Mines.
I presume they just mostly repeat what they are doing in higher tiers because they don't know any better
Asia server its very different in lower tiers where hill rush is the most common strategy , even at lower tiers like tier 3

I am working on it. Looking for better Strategies. I will make the thread better when I can. I am thinking of more Strategies other than the hill. But nowadays going to the hill with my Cruiser IV is so fun. It is so fast and I get in no matter if the enemy is guarding the entrance and it causes quite a battle and distracted enemies are just destroyed

I've uploaded a recent game on Mines in the Euro server. I did not do anything special, I wasn't the highest damage player and I certainly missed a few shots and made mistakes, but I felt that this game was useful in showing how an 'average' tank is supposed to fight on hill and sometimes, being 'average' but in the 'correct' position is enough to win games.
It also shows the importance of controlling the lighthouse side - in this game, the 2 Red LT went lighthouse, but fortunately, a Panther was there to contest the lighthouse - if the 2 lights had control of lighthouse, there was a chance that they could farm damage from the tanks on hill.
One surprise is that some Green tanks rushed hill - i guess it was because they were in a platoon - while they blew up, at least they defended long enough to hold off the ARL44 plat, and did not get blown up by red su-152 in the first minute...

Here's another Mines game in Euro server. Totally average play by me. But this time, we have a platoon & team that actually knows how to play mines and once you put the 'correct tanks' in the 'correct place' on the map, you can be an average player but your chances of winning increase significantly.
The reds did not contest the lighthouse in this game, so green team had no fear of being farmed from lighthouse and could fearlessly push.
The platoons were evenly matched in terms of winrate but Pz IV S & vk28 are not the best tanks for mines. Kv-1s is a very good Hill attacker. Honestly, I would be at a loss about how to drive the pz IV S in this map if a KV-1s and M6 were controlling the hill (go lighthouse I guess?)
Green Platoon: KV-1s (58% wr 10k games,) and P43 (56% wr 9k games).
Red Platoon: Pz IV S (56% wr 10k games) and Vk28 (63% wr 7k games)

Thanks, thats super cool. if they could differentiate servers I suspect one would find that Euro server rushes cap a lot more often than Asia server!

It would be possible to create them for each region...
I think there is a huge bias in the data to the EU anyway as most of the replays are EU, might be worth suggesting it on their discord...

if it’s from a previous version of the game yes you can only view it there, if it’s a replay from the current version of the game you can download it and watch it in blitz...
