Oh the IS-6 Useless can't be there, it's not all OP.

But very interesting comparison!

I think it is there due to historical reasons. It was very powerful under preferential matchmaking in the early days of Blitz. Since then there has been so many new tanks that the pros have not bothered to play with it any more. Therefore most of the stats have been recorded during the "era of OPness" of IS-6. Let's remember that an IS-6 in the reds used to be the same as Annihilators etc.

Ah, you have stats from the beginning of time.. didn't know that.

Well I guess then the stats for that original OP monster will go down in the future as more players will get the tank as ratings prize. Though I'm not sure if any Diamond league players will bother, even if they don't have the basic IS-6.

The most op tree tanks were the Pz II G and Littlepard. Slightly "worse" were derp Hetzer, derp Pz IV, T18, T-54, T-46, A-20. After some buffs the DW2,  Black Prince, Jpz IV were also broken.

Thanks Eliasdepelias! I actually crunched some numbers and wrote a blog article about it. Yes it has its faults since it is consider the best of all time, not the best during the tank's peak moment.

Who guessed it right?

Yeah, well, it doesn't work for me. :(

Without a team backing you I find the reload is what kills me...especially when the team dissolve within seconds leaving me fighting all the reds!

I know, I don't have to guess. :P

Elias, please first define "regular" here. The answer depends on that. Does it mean a tech tree tank?

I know it any way.

Well with regular I meant all tanks that are available for free or a normal price. So not the Otsu, M60, fearless,.... Borderline is probably the T22, crates ony tanks are maybe where I draw the line not to include them. I was looking for the tank that broke the game the most and these tanks are just to rare to fit that definition.

Great analysis but does it take into account the changes between patches? The true answer to my question would probably need an analysis for every patch so you could see what the heat 54 did between it's unneeded buff and nerf. That tank had it all, DPM; mobility, armor, penetration,... The luchs before the nerf. The IS3D in the first 6 months. The T46 in its heyday, a nimble 6 shot autoloader. The Emil 1 is getting a nerf somewhere in the future, its numbers will go down.

The Emil 1 is certainly OP but not as broken as the Anni. The tier 9-10 are basicly the same tank but with just a little less mobility or DPM making them pretty balanced. The little speed the Emil 1 has got more then his big brother is just enough to get your shots off or get out of danger.

Thats why I was appelaing to the players memory, did those tanks feel more broken then the anni?

I look at all time stats and my ARL44 has the highest winrate.

Sure its been nerfed now simply due to the presence of the smasher and anni but I ways thought it to be a strong tank.

Yes, I know what you meant, but what you are asking is not a simple feat and at the moment I do not have the required "tools" to runs such analysis. WG API does not provide history data. This analysis shows the most OP tanks through the history of Blitz.

I have some batches of older data in various formats, but those have not been merged to the main database. It would be fantastic to see how OP the tanks were during their "peak performance".  Maybe some day?

But definitely the most OP tank cannot be Anni even it is OP as ****.

Still is a reasonably strong tank, and when you get the “right” teams, it still is........it’s just that some others are now “pushing the boundaries “ even more!

It also doesn’t help when like the past 2 days when I have taken out my ARL. First couple of games I was wondering if they had nerfed it, or I had simply forgotten how to play it.......then a run of 8 wins on the trot, top scorer on a team of numpties, when suddenly again a team that didn’t remember it’s a tank game, AND I couldn’t hit the side of a barn door........stopped playing it!

Surely tanks like the smasher can’t be classed as ‘regular’. I thought the OP meant ‘real’ tanks. IMO the VK36.01 is OP. Its sidescraping is awesome. Tiger P has mysteriously good armour. I can neither play nor pen the ARL44.
