I've never really given it much thought before but recently i've been toying with the idea of what it might be like to have a campaign or story line in Blitz. If nothing else, it would be a good way to blow off some steam after receiving a particularly frustrating streak of defeats and maybe play some tanks that you don't already own.
Perhaps Wargaming could add a storyline about how the Hybrid Nation tanks came to exist and maybe completing missions could give you silver or free xp rewards.
What are your thoughts about a campaign or PVE mode?

they have it on WoWs blitz so why not but i doubt they will invest in this great idea 

its always better to think what tank they can put in crate instead

It’s a nice idea.
WG could learn a lot from companies like Blizzard how to make a good multiplayer game.

The immortal games like Starcraft or Warcraft are fundamentally multiplayer skirmish battles but have a few elements seriously lacking in Blitz:
- campaign, not very useful in teaching multiplayer skills but makes new players familiar with basic game mechanics and adds immersion
- AI battles, a bit better at teaching skills useful in normal battles but since the AI rarely implements strategies used by good players it’s also limited (training rooms are a half baked solution as they still require human players). Good for trying out various strategies or just less stressful gameplay.
- ladder ranking - personally I found it less frustrating than random MM with WR as the main metric, working around the team aspect would take some tweaks though.

you have single player missions which rewards you with credits 

its fun and they are different between types of ships

sometimes you need to protect a carrier other times kill destroyers or guns

not sure if its 100% historical since im not much in history but its fun and adds a little to the game + its kind of extra tutorial

Q&A to one of the game developers:

1. Will there be 3v3 tournaments? - We don't plan on it in the future, but we have some ideas for the 3v3 tournament.

2. Are you planning to add Polish tanks to World Of Tanks Blitz (Up to 60TP, of course)? - We do not plan to add a Polish tank branch in the future, but this year we will launch the Pudel and the 50TP prototyp, but if we introduced the Polish branch it would start from Tier VIII

3. Do you plan to do personal missions in the future, for example, campaigns? - We are not currently planning personal "Campaign" missions.

4. Would you expand the minimaps in the distant future? - We are not planning to enlarge the maps, but we can make maps larger than 1000x1000m.

Agreed on campaign not sure about bigger maps may encourage too much camping...

Camping is (should be) a part of game that has a mechanics like view range and camo rating. Also there are tanks in game that are literally focused for camping tactics.

 

In current meta camping is not even effective. Braindead heavies brawling and pushing is much more rewarding then anything.
