Czechoslovakian Tanks

 

 

Thanks to the fertile soil of Update 7.7, the European nation Tech Tree will grow a new branch consisting of five Tier VI–X Czechoslovakian medium tanks. They are dynamic, maneuverable, and well-armed machines. Two of them have classic guns with excellent penetration and high single-shot damage, while the other three feature guns with an autoloading system. What's most impressive is the Tier X TVP T 50/51's firepower boasting a 4-shell magazine and up to 1,240 HP of total damage!

Starting a thread to discuss 7.7 in general..

 

Of course, since tier 6 is my favourite tier, balance changes to any t6 tank interest me.

 

Looking at KV-1S reload time buff - 1.5k DPM instead of 1.3k DPM, pen reduced by 15mm.  So it now has more DPM and less pen than Thunder and worse gun depression.  Ordinarily, I would have said just go play KV-2, but KV-2's nerf means I get a lot of low rolls, while KV-1s promises a consistent 400 alpha to those who aim. Any fans of KV-1s want to share their thoughts?

Any chance of letting us actually start a game. Just quit after a 16 minute wait to  start a tier VI game.

The only comment I have so far on this update is that it hasn't hit the Apple Store as yet...

It's still showing as v7.6.1 for me, however, I have deleted the game and it's currently re-installing in the hope that it will install v7.7.

 

We shall see...

 

Yes, even though the app store is still showing v7.6.1, it has installed v7.7.0

Nope still not in......now going for a totally clean install again as the App Store doesn’t have it near me!

Hopefully this will also clear all the lagged, broken remains that seem to be cluttering up my iPad cache!

Haven't got the update yet, but if KV-1S is now worse than Thunder, that is not good!

OMG, there is a real WG employee posting to the forums! Oh, I feel we have not been forgotten. All my 2k€+ to WG has not gone wasted.

I'm pretty sure I will not come to like the Skoda T-25. It's too tall and a HE magnet. Will ace it someday and drop it from the garage like the flaming scrap pile that it is.

 

They updated to another sound-engine. The changes to sound are... interesting. Not sure what to make of that yet. The sounds are completely different now when you are in sniper mode (muted as if you are inside your turret). But I don't like the engine whine that you get in sniper-mode now.

 

May have more thoughts later.
