You may have noticed this very nippy little American TD with rotating turret appearing more frequently. It's very quick and can pack a punch, but because it makes you want to attack I have only had 37% win after 37 games because you go for it every game and end up too far forward with the inevitable consequences. Anyway, which of the four guns do you think is best:

 

75mm Howitzer M3. 

57mm M1

75mm AT M3

3 inch AT M7

 

Also trying the next tier up TD the T49 but keep coming back to the M8A1....... Why....because it's good fun.

57mil m1 because best dpm and pen with ap and you dont need the upgraded turret.

Agree the 57mm is best but my win rate improved when I switched to the max 3"AT M7  !!!

The 3-inch gun. It has less DPM with AP than the 57mm but it is better for peek-a-booming, and firing HE is a good idea with this gun. 200dmg per pen lol.

Currently grinding this line as a side track. I forgot how immensely fun the T82 with the howitser is.

Was wondering about this td line.

The next tank after M8A1 should that not be the T67, not T49. On the pc version the t49 is a tier8 american light tank, not a TD.

What is going on with this tank? 25% win rate? I could be afk and expect better. I'm often top in tier 4-5 matches?

I'd call my teams headless chickens except that's apparently frowned upon. Fowlist?

was the same here, it goes back to normal once you fully upgrade the tank, I think the turret comes with better teams

I went for 3inch AT to avoid staying visible all the time. DPM is not much worse since you are not doing head on brawls anyway.

Worked wonders for me, and looks better!

Fully researched but with the 57 mm gun, i boast an impressive winrate of 67% in 88 games. Bought that gun right away together with tracks and engine though.

57 for me.  Twice the rate of fire and more pen. Less damage per shot, but not per game, unless you generally go for big but slow.  The wife's the latter, so I have learnt a lesson... :-).  And you need to get it (57) to get to the T49 anyway.

 

PS Just top gunned with 57, 1325 Hp at approx 80 Hp per pen.

My win rate has soared to a pitiful 38%. Even my stock t29now has 50% in sight.

I've no idea why I get on with this tank so badly. I've tried different guns, different styles. I even have quite a few good games where within a blink of an eye the green team just evaporates. Weird.

Mockney. It's one of those tanks ...after 75 games I am 45%win yet I have 200 games in IS and IS3 yet can only achieve 37%. Blitz is one of the few games I have come across which given the same tool different people have very different success or fail rates...horses for courses!

ah well, gladly sold it the second i got to 11k xp.

I hope the T49 might offer me more forgiving MM.

 

*sigh* plus ca change, plus c'est le meme chose. First game in and at least this time i was, unusually, offered one player who had a clue.

The T49 was renamed the T67 when they added the T37, M41 Walker Bulldog and the new T49
