Hi peeps, sorry I’ve been absent but I know me and Mockney have discussed our love for this young lady on the Discord channel but I think this will meet with the Major’s approval, if not I’ll just go away for another few months and sulk my flipping socks off!

Nice one, you lads know me too well, I did like that.  Top tune, will have to check out the rest of the material...

update: so, I listened to a few tracks and watched some vids.  This is my favourite, loving the rock-a-billy vibe and any video with side-burns almost as good as mine must be good ;)

The new album ^^ came out this week, i've given it a few metaphorical spins.

Nothing with the hooky immediacy of one or two on the debut, but the album as a whole is very strong.

They are definitely ones to watch.

I'm not quite sure what to describe this as...progressive punk hop perhaps?

Dunno, friggin good though.

As Red Rum Club were on the BBC Music Introducing stage at Glastonbury this weekend and I’m too fat and old to go again, I’m checking out some of the other acts...

Not my usual stuff but I’m not totally 1 dimensional :)

And something much more like what you would expect from me...

and last one, loving their country & western / gospel rock thang...

Dawww, I cant believe I neglected to defile this last piece of a fine thread. Blame the jizya tax on alcohol of our great sultanate but but BUT there is something much more important. Eazy... didnt recieve any animezation influence for 2 bloody months This audacity, this brazzenness cannot stand. What kind of a host would I be if I neglect to give something in return for two and a half centuries of westernization?? Hmm... it has to have some relevance to music out of respect to Mockney and it cannot be miku miku dance porn.. a cringy mmd it is then!

This is based on Madoka Magica, one of the finest magical girl anime to ever come out. Accept it, watch it and love it. It might too early to graduate to dakimakura and figures but no harm in expanding ones knowledge. Yes.

Working on a BT-42 proposal for the forum and Discord.

here we go, one of my quintessential weekend openers.

Best served with something cold and crisp

And anyone who doesn't love this, then clearly their mechanism's gone!!!

I'm with the Major on this. Merkins shouting with lots of sweaty hair and interminable guitar solos don't appeal at all.

This is Dr Feelgood. Accept no alternatives:

Whilst I class myself as a "rock" enthusiast, I totally agree with you on this Dr Feelgood, with Wilco Johnson on guitar......

Mind you, I totally expected him to start playing his axe when I spotted him in "Game of Thrones"!

I just wish I knew how to put attachment videos on this forum using an iPad, I have been struggling with emojis and a signature so anything like this seems far beyond me!

Loved that 1st one m8, I‘d say it’s one of best cover versions of any song, nice one.

I can’t stand Jacko so enjoyed that one too.

Lynrd Skynrd not my bag, I know it’s considered a classic by many but I got bored after 3 mins, sorry, low attention span, it’s probably why I’m still a Punk at heart :)

BTW if you use “full version” of forum there’s a youtube button on the toolbar and click that and paste url there and it will embed the video...

Thanks for the advice Posting videos Mjr.

Will try this next time!

As to the Skynyrd....I'm sorry it's my age (and vinyl collection) that my 12yr old grandson has helped me resurrect!

He's 12 going on 50! And only want to listen to '60's, 70's and 80's rock and it has to be vinyl only! & preferentially original!

Good lad!  I tried with my older 2 got em both turntables and vinyl but they still do the downloads although I have managed to get em to like The Ramones, Sex Pistols, Undertones, Blondie, Johnny Cash, Madness, Jimmy Cliff and The Specials amongst many other Golden Oldies ;). Oh, and of course a love of the musical travesty that is Eurovision :hiding:

BTW I hate you :). Can’t get that Sounds of Silence cover out of my head, humming it all the way to the station and just watched it again!  It’s even more of an ear worm than the original!
